The following is a forecast of the next week.....

A General Note before we startAs all of you are aware, we are presently in the process of moving from our present premises to the temporary premises next door. We are doing this to allow us to work on the present premises and renew them. The company is investing a lot of money to do this and I would like us to work together to make this transition as smooth as possible.

I understand the situation right now is disruptive with noise, dirt and dust all around but we must work together to make the transition efficient... The quicker it gets done... the better.

A General Note before we startI would like the technicians to organise the space allocation of the Techroom – the idea is to have the present Technical area free of all electronic rigs and devices and to put these rigs or demo boards in the new techroom

This last week , Ludovic has resigned from his post of Integrated Security Systems Commissioning Technician and he will work till 1st May 2016... I take this opportunity to thank Ludovic for his six year service and we now need to have a handover period till the 1/5/2016.

Projects and deadlines

• 15_033_Westin_7-AHU- by 26/2 ... Manually start up AHUs in Plant room MCC1 by 7/3 – this has been achieved well done !! complete installations in Banquet hall areas by 14/3 Manual start up AHUS in Banquet by 28/3 Complete all T&C works

• 13_070_SCM Lagoona_Pump room- We have pulled most cables and need to now start terminations on site... This, too, is going to become a hot project- All terminations possible are to be completed by 28/3

Projects and deadlines• 15_044_Hilton_Restaurant_Kitchen_AHU and

15_034_Hilton_Calorifier_Monitoring- Panels to be completed within March – the earlier the better!!... All installation and manual start up by end March 2016. Full T&C by end of April 2015

• Projects 12_026 SCM Buildings 02, 03, R3 & R4 and 12_027 Security Systems Parliament- Have long been awaiting final conclusion- I have been asking for feasible dates to close these off since the beginning of the year- I am still waiting for a plan here

Projects and deadlines• 15_008 - Aurobindo PH02 BMS- We will re

start commissioning this week and we need to give priority to the air systems

• 13_052 New offices- Get the Automation in the new area offices ready by March 2016!! Make sure it is fully functional and de snagged- Installation upstairs to be ready by Mid March 2016.... Design and Technical offices will be moved soon after that!

Panel Build• Now that we have completed the Intercontinetal

panel we need to focus on getting the 3 Hilton Panels out – the earlier the better. We need to start this next week.

Mater Dei

• Things have come back to normal with the MDH operation and maintenance tasks- I expect all of you to pull the rope and get things normal and in line- it would be good to start getting feedback of what was done during the week and what is planned for the next from MDH

Development and Commissioning• We have done large important steps on finishing off the

Parliament we need to get the documentation out of the way too to avoid us going time and time again on site- IT IS NOW A PRORITY AND WE NEED TO GET A COMPLETION

• The last issues on the DAC for SCM PH2- IT IS NOW A PRORITY AND WE NEED TO GET COMPLETION CERTIFICATION

• SCM PH2 needs also some attention on the tagging purchase order for the BMS- CVA is to work on this

• The Bosch HSDK interface is well advanced and we awaiting the client

Development and Commissioning• OTM urgent jobs and snags were also done in the last weeks• Another project that needs attention is CCA Villa ... There are

still some snags to be addressed – Wall mounted controller on wall in Dining area and issues with AC integration and intruder alarm integration

• Oncology 14_066- We have done most of the work here and are waiting from Panta on this

• The Siggiewi Primary school project – we need to close off – the quicker the better!!

• Aurobindo we are proceeding with software development and we have done quite some progress – we now will be starting commissioning

Sales and Business Development

• We have been working on Home automation offerings and quotes for OTM (some of which are quite large) and quotes for variations for existing projects.

• We are also working on a bid for Le Meridien Hotel- Upgrade of old Niagara R2 platform hardware and software

• I have started passing over the lessons learnt.... More to follow shortly
