TW@ESI6th December 2015Hope that you and all your families had a good weekend .. This may be a long weekend for a lot of you. The following is an update of what was achieved during the past week and a forecast of the next week
By now we have most of our employees on this discussion group (welcome aboard Manuel) except Ludovic, Clinton, Lino, Victor, Brian, Rodney, Daniele, Pawlu, Michael ... Please... All of you.. Join!!
Projects and deadlines• We are presently executing a number of fast track projects and
I would like to summarise the major ones them as follows:– 14_081 - Siggiewi Primary School BMS- Most of the 3rd fix
installation is now completed and we now need to proceed and commission and finish all we have to finish by first week of December- we are doing a lot of work here to complete on time- There is an important soiree on Friday 11th and we need to show what we have completed- this is a very important project for us for which we will get exposure and opportunities to do other government properties
– 13_076 - MDH Block D Ext MAU- Panel terminations are now done and IO testing is advanced by now- We are focussing to finish off and do the required FUN tests
Projects and deadlines– 15_008 - Aurobindo PH02 BMS- We have the first phase
of handover which is to be done by 13th November 2015... This date has been delayed by the contractor – so my message is to press on doing software until the contractor starts meeting the deadlines
– 14_089_MGA_DAC_PA_VA – DAC needs to be completed YESTERDAY ... The quicker we get out of this the better!!
– 14_027_SCM_FTIS- DAC needs to be completed YESTERDAY ... The quicker we get out of this the better!! There are huge pressures to complete both MGA and FTIAS- we have done a lot in FTIAS and now need to wrap up and finish both FTIAS and MGA
DesignLast Week• Printed MDH MAU Field Cable Labels and Siggiewi • FM Env – Implemented Panel Drawings As Built feedback• Siggiewi – Implemented Panel Drawings As Built feedback• OTM – Implemented 3 Work Orders & other emails from Silvio• SCM Lagoon – Conclude Populating of Terminating Matrix • Westin – Briefed Lino for AHU-MCC-2, including Materials list. (both Panel to be
completed & delivered by 23/12/2015• Hilton Guest Rooms - Briefed Lino for additional Vent Fan. (Actual Vent Fan &
Grille in my office, Lino is aware of this)• Life Sciences – Smoke Control Panel As Built update• Siggiewi – new Enclosure for Electrical Meter for PV Outgoer (100A)• Siggiewi – DDC-HALL As Built updateNext Week• JGH is on leave- buon voyage
Installation
• Last week we were focused on– Life Sciences Commissioning– MAU Panel terminations and IO testing– MGA/FTIAS DAC systems
• Next week– MGA/FTIAS DAC installation and commissioning – Life Sciences Commissioning– MAU Panel terminations
Panel Build• Westin AHU MCC which is to be delivered by

Mater Dei
• The team at MDH is working full blast to assist the MAU installation and a lot of effort is being done in order for ESI to succeed
• The team at Mater Dei are working hard to fill in the missing people and we are coming to normal.
Development and Commissioning• We have done large important steps on finishing off the Parliament we need to get
the documentation out of the way too to avoid us going time and time again on site• We finalised on the DAC for FTIAS – we need to close off on the pending doors .. The
earlier the better!!- A lot of work and effort has been done this week• 14_089_MGA_PA_DAC- commissioning needs to be completed soon- the earlier the
better• The last issues on the DAC for SCM PH2• SCM PH2 needs also some attention on the tagging purchase order for the BMS- CVA
is to work on this• Hilton Hotel Guest room AHU project the drive is now here and this week we will
hopefully close off• The Bosch HSDK interface is well advanced and we awaiting the client• The PLC/SCADA team have been working on the IO testing of MAU• We have also been addressing a number of issues for TSP Two Man rule
Development and Commissioning• There is huge amount of work to do with the commissioning of Life
Sciences 12_043!! We are on a very tight time frame here and we need to dig really deep and perform
• OTM urgent jobs and snags were also done in the last weeks• Aurobindo is another important and, now, fast track project We are
awaiting the main contractor for us to start commissioning the Priority A items
• Another project that needs attention is CCA Villa ... LVA to look into issues of intruder alarm too.
• The Siggiewi Primary school project is an extremely urgent project which needs to be completed and commissioned by first week of December 2015. There is a lot of commissioning work to be done and we need to work efficiently to make the commissioning time as short as possible
Sales and Business Development
• We have been working on Home automation offerings and quotes for variations for existing projects.
• We are working on a BMS solution for Palazzo Zamitello
Birthday wishes go to Brian Farrugia 8th December – I also forgot Rullus BDAY
which was on 23rd – so happy belated Bday
• I have asked all of you involved in projects, what have you learnt? How can we improve? So that next time we do things better!! Please give this attention so that we can start documenting a list of lessons we have learned from past projects and try to do things better the next time round- I really need all your help here- we have a lot to learn and improve upon
