LateWhile it’s obvious of a film’s cast and crew to be aware of a
reptile on the set, Kareena Kapoor remained oblivious to a snake that slithered into the studio where she was shooting
Gori Tere Pyaar Mein.So much so that she didn’t even care to know what the com-
motion was about, preferring to sit in a corner with her feet resting on another chair. Strange, since there were a few hun-dred people at the shoot and they were running all over the place for fear of being attacked by the snake.
It was only when her hairstylist Pompi showed her a pic-ture of the snake on his mobile that Bebo freaked out and
screamed. Only to be told, that there was no point in her screaming so late because the snake had been driven out.After that, throughout the day, director Punit Malhotra was trying
to scare everyone at the location, telling them that the snake was under their chair. But Kareena wasn’t amused.
Priyanka Chopra who had her plate full with movies and her international album suddenly faced a setback in her per-
sonal life with her father’s death. While everyone in the Bollywood fraternity was expecting Priyanka to take a break, she shocked all by expressing her desire to resume work.
Priyanka was set to shoot for the Mary Kom biopic with Bhansali but because of the tragedy, the shooting was post-poned. Bhansali had given Priyanka all the time she needed to recoup from the trauma but the actress was stub-born about getting back to work as she believed that this would be her fa-ther’s desire too. Priyanka who has been practicing boxing for a while, has started shooting for the film.

They worked together in blockbust-er ‘Aashiqui 2’ and instantly clicked
with each other. Yes, we are taking about the new lovebirds of tinsel town, Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Ka-pur. They are said to be dating and very much in love. Their love story took
off on the set of ‘Aashiqui 2’ and with the end of the shoot, they became one.
They enjoyed the success of the film together as a couple and both are very
much attracted towards each other. In an interview, Aditya expressed his liking for the actress, “I can understand why people think we are together, as we are really good friends and are really really close and go out for dinner and movies together. She is a nice person and is a good actress and is great fun to be around with.”

Running is liberating
Ileana D’Cruz lost six kilos in two years. “Honestly, I started ex-ercising only two years ago. I tried on a pair of shorts one day, and my dad pointed to the cellulite. That hurt my ego,” she says.Fitness is: I don’t complicate exercise. Do something you enjoy.
Join a dance class, run by the beach, skip in your balcony. I have an aversion to gyms. I find them claustrophobic, and get dizzy on a treadmill.
Living in Goa made it easy to run by the beach; four kilome-tres, three days a week for three months. And the results were instant. I discovered that running was liberating. It eases your mind, and helps you bust stress. For me, interval training worked. I would sprint, then slow jog, then sprint again. The short high energy bursts accelerated calorie burning.
Exercise of choice: Running also gifts you chiselled cheek-bones, which don’t always look good on screen. So, I alternate running with other exercises. I swim twice a week, and can man-age 100 laps. I alternate between the breast, back and butterfly stroke. The combination helps tone my chest, inner thighs, shoul-ders, buttocks and arms.
Diet rules: I love to eat. If I am craving cake, I’ll have it. But I make sure I don’t overdo it. Sugar can boomerang in a bad way. Between lunch and breakfast, I sip on coconut water or sweet lime juice. Lunch is at 1 pm and includes two chapatis, chicken or fish, and a vegetable such

as cauliflower. And of course, there’s daal. I’m not fond of rice.

With the motive of acquiring the examination papers in advance, the duo decides to invest more money and reap benefits. Mean-while, Lali [Manjot Singh] and Zafar [Ali Fazal] too need to fulfill their individual desires and aspirations and join hands with Hunny and Choocha.
However, things go topsy-turvy when they pick up a loan from Bholi Punjaban [Richa Chadda], a female gangster.... The film stays true to Delhi’s colloquialism and the humor is subtle and understated and not in your face tomfoolery and clowning.

Ramaiya Vastavaiya is an upcoming Bol-lywood romance film directed by Pra-bhu Deva. The film introduces producer
Kumar Taurani’s son Girish Kumar, oppo-site Shruti Haasan. It is a remake of Prabhu Deva’s directorial debut Telugu blockbuster Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana. The story is based on youngster Ram (Girish Kumar) who falls in love with Sona (Shruti Haasan), who is his cousin’s best friend and lives on the fields of Punjab. He follows her to her farm, where her elder brother (Sonu Sood) challenges him to produce more seed on their fields.The first song promo of the film was released under the title of “Jeene Laga Hoon”, sung by Atif Aslam and Shreya Ghoshal.

Richa Chadha got a chance to enjoy shopping endlessly and cook in Jaipur when she visited the city as part of the ‘Star In Your City’ show.
The actress, who rose to fame with her role in Gangs Of Wasseypur, was excited looking at the ethnic products and ended up buying quilts with popular elephant prints, Jaipuri jutis, lamps, umbrellas and accessories.
She also found a cage lantern that she was looking for over a month! While Richa explored her shopaholic side at Hawa Mahal, she also tried her hand at cooking an authentic Rajasthani dish – Gatte ki Biryani.

“I’ve been to Delhi before but not in this way. It’s an overwhelming experi-ence to be able to savour the delights that it has to offer. It’s not wrong when you say ‘Dilli dilwalon ki’. Truly, Delhi is a beautiful experience,” she said.
Beating the Capital’s heat in her own way, she displayed her culinary skills in making a refreshing lassi. The exhilarat-ed fans received dresses and accesso-ries from her recently launched clothing line The Closet Label. “The collection is all about effortless, affordable and chic clothing. It’s for every mood,” she said.

Viren and Jeevika are going through a rather twisted phase in their life. As we all know Jee-
vika cannot become a mother, which is extremely disheartening for the two of them.
Viren seems to have taken this in his stride and is completely supportive of Jeevika. Under normal circumstances when such an issue could lead to cha-os in a typical Indian family set-up, it is commendable that Jeevika’s family is with her.
This we see through Viraat’s initiative of actually suggesting in vitro fertilisation as an alternate solution to Viren and Jeevika’s problem. The Vadhera family too is optimistic about Jeevika opting for IVF and actually going for the test.
This is the most crucial moment in Jeevika’s life. Though her family has agreed to support her through this, it surely is emotionally stressful for Jeevika.
Jeevika takes the IVF test
A bhabhi is known to be a devar’s best friend. After a girl gets mar-
ried, it is often said that it is the duty of the devar to take care of his bhabhi and make her feel comfortable in her new house. We got a few devars to talk about their bhabhis:
Viraat shares, “Jeevika bhabhi is just the best at everything. She came in, and immediately got along with every-one in the family. She gelled so well with all of us, it was just amazing. And the way she cares for everyone in the family is what makes her so special.”
Rashmi smiles, “Akshara’s bhabhi takes care of everyone’s likes and dis-likes in the house. She moulded herself and became a part of the family in the

most special way ever. Through thick and thin, Akshara bhabhi has sup-ported everyone.”
Kinjal says, “The way Gopi bhabhi has made my family like her own is what makes her extremely special. She takes special care of everyone, and treats everyone in the house like her own.”
With work pressures increasing, it is becoming increasingly difficult for
couples to spend time with each other and think about their future together. That is where our dear Sooraj steps in, who in the most subtle manner, is help-ing Sandhya hold on to her dreams.
As much as Bhabho is not keen on Sandhya pursuing her career, Sooraj only wants to see his wife Sandhya fulfill her dream of becoming an IPS officer. While Sandhya has been overly stressed about the situation at home, Sooraj helps her relieve her stress by taking her away from the home atmo-sphere and playing a game with her.

At the inauguration of the hospital in ‘Pyar Ka
Dard Hai,’ certain things were exposed which threw the Deewan family in a mess. Kaira revealed that she saw Purshottam kill his own wife. This has thrown everyone in a state of shock and disbelief.
Our source says, “Al-though his kids, Anuj, Avantika and Preeti are aware of what happened on that night, there is something that Purshottam Deewan has been hiding from everyone in the family. Only Shanky and the nurse, i.e, Nirmala Deshpande are aware of what happened.”

Hitler Didi is undergoing lots of twists and turns after Jaanvi
Sangwan has entered the show as Jwala Devi and Indira (Rati Pandey) has gone to her sasural. The ‘Hitler’ Indira has encountered another ‘Hit-ler’ in the form of Ammo and now this is how her new journey has start-ed in the show.
The writer of the show, Malvi-ka Asthana, says,” We will keep on adding more elements in the tracks to make the show interesting. Now the story will revolve around Indira’s life in her sasural with a big obstacle in her way.”
When asked about the romantic sequences of Rishi (Sumit Vats) and Indira as per the audiences’ demand, she assured us saying, “Yes, there is definitely some romantic sequence coming up in the show.”
Twists and turns in Hitler Didi
Shashi Sumeet Mittal’s Punar Vivah saw Divya (Rubina Dilaik) coming
back to Raj (Karan V Grover) and even Raj is happy about her comeback. On the other hand, Sarita who is in love with her husband Raj, wants to look pretty for him and is always seeking his attention.
Divya who has comeback just to be friends with Raj cannot see the tension between the couple and wants that Sa-rita’s (Sriishty Rode) life should begin on a positive note and thinks that she and Raj should re-marry.

Mahadev introduces Ramayan trackRumours are abuzz about the
introduction of Ramayan track in Life Ok’s Devon Ka Dev Ma-hadev. Our source says, “Piy-ush Sahdev who currently plays the role of Abhimanyu in Hum Ne Li Hai Shapath has been cast to play the role of Lord Ram in the upcoming Ramayan track of Devon Ke Dev Mahadev. The actor will soon exit from his cur-rent show Shapath.”
Both the shows are on the same channel so we are presuming that the sudden exit from one show to be part of the other was a well thought through creative decision.
Drunken Yug plays a prank on AmritKaran Mehra aka Yug of Life OK’s
Amrit Manthan, who is appreciated for his good looks, acting skills and a phenomenal chemistry with Amrit (Adaa Khan) has a fun side too. While shoot-ing for a drunken sequence, Karan shocked Adaa by playing a prank.
Adaa Khan explains, “Karan came up to me and said that he will get drunk in real in order to add a genuine touch to the scene.”
“I asked my director and he con-
firmed that he himself had given per-mission to Karan. After we shot for the scenes, Karan said because of exces-sive drinking his head was pounding. The atmosphere became worse when he became dizzy and nauseated. I got so wor-ried that I ran and bought water for him.”
“And just the next moment Karan burst out laughing and left me in shock. When I realised that I was be-came victimised by a prank played by Karan, I got so annoyed.” (Laughs).
The talented and gorgeous Ridhi Dogra who is seen playing the role
of Savitri in Shabbir Ahluwalia’s Flying Turtles Films productions popular dai-ly soap Savitri, enjoys anchoring as much as she loves acting.
Ridhi says, “I love anchoring a lot. Right from school days to college I have always been on stage and I love the feeling of being on the stage. I had done anchoring for an Award function last year and I enjoyed the experience of being on the stage.”
Ridhi Dogra Vashisth loves anchoring.
The handsome Kolkata boy Ayaz Ahmed who is portraying the role
of Raghu in Life OK’s new show Do Dil Ek Jaan is in a happy space being part of the show as the main lead.
Ayaz says, “Do Dil Ek Jaan has giv-en me an opportunity to depict a role that I have never done before. Raghu is a typical Mumbai ka mawali with shades of grey. This guy is very simi-lar to Robinhood Pandey, who has his own gun-toting gangster style but is also concerned about others.”

tic-comedy revolving around an aspiring actor ‘Jassi’ (roshan Prince) who dreams of making a movie to launch himself as a ‘hero’ so that he can impress the love of his life ‘roop’ (Bhanushree Mehra) and marry her. to fulfill his dreams, he starts doing immoral activities and makes quick-money by creating dramas.
during one such ‘drama’, he ends up break-ing the marriage of ‘geet’ (Japji Khaira) and is made to marry her forcibly by the village com-munity. and now he has “two” girls in his life.

Keep paneer cubes in a bowl, add salt, ginger-garlic paste, refined flour, 1 tsp tomato chilli sauce and mix gen-tly. Roughly chop spring onions. Heat 2 tbsps oil in a non stick wok. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.Cut red chillies into small pieces, remove seeds and add to the wok. Add spring onions and saute. Add a few cubes of paneer at a time to the hot oil in the kadai and deep fry on high heat till golden.Add capsicums to the wok and mix well. Add salt cookfor some time. Add 1 tbsp tomato chilli sauce, mix well and cook for 2 minutes. Switch off the heat.Drain paneer cubes and add to the wok and mix well. Serve hot.

MethodHeat the ghee in a non-stick kadai. Add the pumpkin and sauté on low heat till soft. Add the sugar, mix well and cook till the sugar melts and the moisture evaporates. Add the khoya, cashewnuts, raisins and pistachios and mix well. Cook for five minutes, stirring continuously. Remove from heat and sprinkle green cardamom powder. Serve hot.
