He was in danger of earningthe nickname sick note after a string ofniggling injures followed his January signing.Island life should come easy to our newcentre back, he was born in Mallorca andworked his way up through the junior ranksat his home club. Baltasar seems to havebeen a restless soul, moving to Huesca andAlmeria, his Primera career never really gotoff the ground and the club cancelled hiscontract. Last season he played for Gironaand he thought his good form had won him adeal at Racing Santander but despite goingthrough pre season training with them theydidn’t keep him on, he has denounced themfor breach of contract and is hoping to followup promotion with CD Tenerife by winninghis June court case against Racing.This season he started out at Numancia butagain found his chances very limited. A lateand unexpected capture in the winterwindow Baltasar gives us added cover at theback and he has signed a contract until theend of next season. His name is more suitedto the three kings but (corny link number387) he is looking forward to crowning thisseason with promotion.
