BrunoWho Are Ya?Our defence used to regularly leak like a pairof second hand wellies, but this season thathas all changed (most weeks) and Brunohas played a big part in that turn around.The 22 year old from Las Galletas is backafter a year on loan, and has improveddramatically.Coming through the youth system, Brunobecame a key player in the B team for their2009-10 season in Segunda B. DavidAmaral gave several rising players a run outin the last game of 2010-11 relegationseason at Las Palmas, and Bruno lookedgood but didn’t get the nod for last season.A loan deal was arranged with Teruel and hecompleted 27 games and scored atBadalona, showing that Bruno was too goodto lose. So despite an option for Teruel totake him for a second season, he camehome.Originally he was expected to form a centreback pairing with Ayoze but his team up withTarantino has brought out the best in both ofthem. There have been a couple of notableerrors but Bruno recovers well and is addingto his strong ball winning skills and coolreading of the game.He’s always welcome to a lift home to thesouth as long as he doesn’t mindEl General’s mix tape.

It was our first loss of the season last week but we got away with it asall the top teams had a "bad day at the office". A few years ago I neverthought I would be jumping around my apartment after hearing a resultfrom tiny Coruxo, but with Salamanca and Avilés both losing, it is "asyou were".Even Real Oviedo are only creeping up the table. Will their new wealthyowner, the worlds richest man Carlos Slim (no relation to Fat boy Slim)spend big in January? The first two games in 2013 may be played at anunusual hour or day. We are due to play Salamanca on the 6th but thisis "3 Kings Day", so it may be altered to the Sunday afternoon orMonday lunchtime. The week after we play CD Marino, so unless theyhave a flight to catch from the north airport to the south, hopefully wewill enjoy a lie in that day as well.CDT have kept the same manager now for 6 months, so things must begood. Meanwhile, it's predicted that by 2025 you'll be no more than sixfeet away from an ex-Chelsea manager. Enjoy it today, it´s going to bea hell of a battle!
