    Sec ond Annual Corpor ate Toboggan Speed Chal lenge

    Pokagon State Park again hosted the Angola Area Chamber of Commerce Corporatetoboggan Speed Challenge on Thursday, December 1st. 36 foursomes braved thequarter mile track that drops 100 feet in elevation starting from the 35 foot high launchtower. This years winning team was Streibig Construction Team #1, captained by

    Randy Streibig with a speed of 41 mph. Recognition for the most entertaining teamwent to the Trine University Sports team and best costume went to the Cameron Hos-pital Radiology team. Great weather coupled with great support from all who partici-pated made for a really good time. Special thanks go to Pokagon State Park and Po-tawatomi Inn for all of their work in hosting this fun chamber event!

    WLKI FM 100.3 was selected as the Chamber Memberof the Month for Going above and beyond in their cover-

    age of the 18th Annual AACOC Golf Outing and Party onthe Patio following golf.

    The Steuben County Tourism Bureau was selected as

    the Chamber Member of the Month for September fortheir exceptional support of Fall Fest in downtown

    Angola.

    The Angola Area Chamber of Commerce has created a QR code to access our member to member discount

    page. Now you can use a smart phone equipped with a free app qr code reader to access all of the discount pro-

    viders and the discounts they provide in our Member to Member discount program. This QR code will be lo-

    cated on the back side of the AACOC 2012 membership card we provide to each of the employees of all

    AACOC members.

    Now when chamber members are in the market for any good or service in the Angola area they can scan the QR

    code on the back of their membership card and find local merchants from several different business categories

    who provide valuable discounts to fellow chamber members and their employees.
