Overall, 2,153 of the 4,505samples of disposable andreusable carry bags (48 percent)

showed low or non-detectablelevels of lead, indicating thetechnical feasibility of producinglead-safe bags, anang pangkat.

All carry bags will, overtime, deteriorate. Wear and tearcould liberate the lead out of the bag, causing it to leach tothe food or get dispersed asdust, ani Lucero.

Based on the screening weconducted, lead was detected insome carry bags that are used topack food and non-food items, pahayag ni EcoWaste nationalcoordinator Aileen Lucero.

While reusable bags are bet-ter alternatives to disposableplastic bags, manufacturers of these products should also seeto it that they are free fromlead, aniya.

clock as they go in an attempt to

finish with the fastest time. Be- yond just being a skilled driver, memorizing the course is a signif-icant part of achieving a fast time.

Once the flag drops at thestarting line, the driver must ma-neuver through a predeterminedtrack performing many differ-ent driving techniques. What sep-arates gymkhana from traditionalautocross events is that thegymkhana requires drivers to per-form reversals, 180 degree spins,360 degree spins, parking boxes, figure 8s, and other mind blow-ing skills. Drifting is also encour-aged where helpful or necessary.Essentially, a gymkhana is any event featuring a starting point, afinish line and some sort of ob-stacle to get through, around, orby, all within a certain time limit. However, if you are thinking of competing or riding along in anevent with Monster Energy andKen Block, you better get ready totake it to the next level with fea-

Back to the City of Love with Jen, Mark

Ten years after winning thereality search, StarStruck,Jennylyn and Mark are reunitedin this new drama series. Iteased Mark and Jen: Sincethey were both single again, would they consider rekindlingtheir romance? The friendship weve built over the years ismore important, Jen said.Mark agreed, Jen and I are sol-id. Better to keep things uncom-plicated. When you work to-gether with someone you areromantically involved with, clashes are inevitable and it canaffect your work.

I also ribbed them about theX in the title possibly beingchanged to EX since they were ex-lovers reunited on-screen.

Yasmien is not bothered atall by rival shows. Our show isedgy, Yas pointed out Its not your usual drama. We focus onsomeone with a Dissociative

Identity Disorder (DID). Aside from participating in

the festivities, Dingdong had animportant mission. Because[Supertyphoon] Yolanda didnot spare northern Iloilo, Dongsaid, I have an outreach activi-ty to help the schoolchildren. They are close to my heart, since I have Ilonggo roots.

Dong is all agog for his com-ing series, which has the feel of My Husbands Lover. I fondly call Dong Leonardo becausehe looks like Leonardo Di-Caprio .

    In no rushThe extravaganza continued

as The Borrowed Wife leadstars Camille Prats , RafaelRosell and TJ Trinidad cruisedmajor streets aboard a Kapusofloat for the grand parade onJan. 25.

Camille is not ready to takethe plunge again. [My boyfriend] John and I talk about

marriage, but we are not rush-ing, she explained. Im stillasking for signs from my latehusband Anthony , which henever fails to send my way. When I wanted to know if An-thony approved of John, he senta white butterfly way past mid-night.

John, she explained, is basedin the United States. When thetime comes for us to settle

down, I can give up show bizand move to the US with my 6- year-old son Nathan .

Portraying a wife in the se-ries makes Camille vicariously experience a role she used torelishthe same role shes rar-ing to do all over again, forJohn.

Ideal papasTJ was the picture of an ide-

al family man. The daddy inhim beamed as he showed usphotos of his 3-week-old baby

girl, Renata , and his 1-year-oldson, Alonso .Every time Im at work, I

cant wait to get home, he said. When I have enough savings,Id like to slow down and spendmore time with my family. Aside from his Cinemalaya bestsupporting actor award, TJshould be named Ulirang Amaat Asawa.
