“Ilike classical music and watch-ing theater productions such as

The Phantom of the Opera,Wicked and My Fair Lady,” shetold the Inquirer at a press con.

At bakit nga naman hindi?“Sometimes I sing numbers

from those musicals out loud, and people around me say thesongs suit my voice. So I said,‘why don't I?’" sabi ni Anne ha-bang tumatawa.

Nang tanungin kung ano angmagiging highlight ng kanyangpalabas, balik agad ni Anne:“Definitely not my voice!” Hilignaman niyang kumanta noonpa man, ngunit alam niya nawalang hilig ang kanta sakanya, sabi niya.

“People obviouslydon't go to my show formy singing; they go forthe whole production-the stunts, costumesand all the pasabog, pahirapan ngbuhay!” sabi niAnne said, at samga konsiyertolang daw siyanabibigyan ngpagkakataon naipakita ang totoongsarili niya, “fun andmakulit.”

Habol pa niya,“But I've improved-alittle! I can promisethat I won't be as out-of-tune as I was thefirst time.”

“To which I replied, ‘Any-thing you want; I will adjust!’It's such an honor to have thisperson in my show.”

Mabilis naman itong iti-nanggi ni Anne, “It’s not Ms.Lea. It's going to be a surprise.”

“He told me,‘What is ours is ours.’ We'reopen to the public, but we'renot overly show biz. We want tokeep it that way.”

Producer si Anne ng concertkasama ang Viva. Inamin niyana mayroon talagang pressuresiyang nararamdaman na maga-nda ang kalabasan ng show .Ang una niyang concert, angAnnebisyosa: No Other Concert,ay sold out, at nilibot pa ngbuong mundo.

“There’s a first time for ev-erything. I'm at this age… Iwant to start doing differentthings; I also want to learnsomething business-related,”sabi ni Anne. “Luckily, Viva issupportive and willing to teachme. They encourage me tospread my wings.”

“My first single will be calledMade in the Philippines,” pa-hayag niya.

“I’vegone through the worst in

terms of criticisms. I don’tlet them [go to my head],”

sabi niya. “You can’t pleaseeveryone.”

Pagdidiin pa niya: “I don’twant people to take me serious-ly. I just want them to have agreat time and come out laugh-ing.”
