It becomes a great tradition each year at this time to talk about the Diocesan Services Appeal. Last week end we have seen the video message from the most Reverend Bishop Gerald Barbarito. Our bishop inviting us to carry out the mission of the Church through financial support benefitting the great work the diocese has done and continues to do throughout the five counties of our diocesan territory and elsewhere. The theme for 2015 DSA “A Family of Faith in Service to Others” reflected our mission as baptized people calling to build communities, because of that we are compelled by the love of Christ to care for the entire family through work of charity and pastoral ministries. As one family together for instance we strive faithfully to ensure through our generosity and love to transform lives. Our pledges and donations are really transform lives in many ways for instance to educate, to support, to share, to strengthen and to give. Once again, today, I want to thank you for being very generous to our parish and to the DSA. I am very grateful for your countless efforts that really contribute to help us to reach last year goal. With great enthusiasm I am asking you again to consider participating and making your pledge to the 2015 DSA. Every single pledge or donation is very appreciated by the entire family of our diocese and God will bless tremendously for your generous contribution. As you take a time to respond prayerfully to this year’s DSA theme, please consider this to be an act of faith and love on your part, and take joy in being a faithful partnership to the great mission and pastoral work of our diocese. Our goal for this year is $130,500.00. I strongly believe with God’s grace on our side and your generous support as usual we can work together and make it. I pray that God will bless our generous heart as we work together for this common goal. A Family of Faith in Service to Others resonates very clearly like Jesus’ mission while he was ministering to the people. Today this mission has been entrusted to our care. May the Holy Spirit strengthen our faith as we carry out faithfully the work of Jesus.

Se ha convertido en una gran tradición cada año para esta fecha, el hablar acerca de la Campaña de los Servicios Diocesanos. La semana pasada hemos visto el mensaje en video de nuestro Reverendísimo Obispo Gerald Barbarito. Nuestro obispo nos invita a llevar a cabo la misión de la Iglesia a través de apoyo financiero beneficiando la gran obra que la diócesis hace y sigue realizando en los cinco condados de nuestro territorio diocesano y en otros lugares. El tema para 2015 DSA "Una Familia de Fe al Servicio de los Demás" refleja nuestra misión como bautizados llamando a construir comunidades, debido a que nos vemos obligados por el amor de Cristo el cuidar de todas las familias a través del trabajo de los ministerios de caridad y pastorales. Como una familia unida, por ejemplo, nos esforzamos fielmente para garantizar a través de nuestra generosidad y amor para transformar vidas. Nuestras promesas y donaciones realmente transforman vidas de muchas maneras, por ejemplo para educar, apoyar, compartir, fortalecer y dar.

Una vez más, hoy, quiero darles las gracias por ser tan generosos con nuestra parroquia y la campaña DSA. Estoy muy agradecido por sus innumerables esfuerzos que realmente contribuyen a ayudarnos a alcanzar la cuota del año pasado. Con gran entusiasmo les pido de nuevo el considerar su participación y hacer su donativo a la campaña DSA del 2015. Cada promesa o donación es muy apreciada por toda la familia de nuestra diócesis y Dios los bendiga enormemente por su generosa contribución. Cuando tomen un tiempo para responder en oración a este tema del DSA de este año 2015, por favor consideren esto como un acto de fe y amor de su parte, y tener la alegría de ser un colaborador fiel en la gran misión y el trabajo pastoral de nuestra diócesis.

Nuestro objetivo para este año es de $130,500.00. Creo firmemente con la gracia de Dios de nuestro lado y su generoso apoyo como siempre que podemos trabajar juntos y alcanzarlo. Ruego para que Dios bendiga nuestro generoso corazón a medida que trabajamos juntos por este objetivo común. Una familia de fe al servicio de otros resuena con mucha claridad a la misión de Jesús mientras él estaba ministrando a la gente. Hoy en día esta misión se ha confiado a nuestro cuidado. Que el Espíritu Santo fortalezca nuestra fe para llevar a cabo fielmente la obra de Jesús.
