2020 Catholic Schools of Arkansas Scholarship
Appeal
This weekend is the kickoff of the Catholic Schools Scholarship
Appeal. All funds will go directly to an Arkansas Catholic school
to provide tuition assistance to a family with a demonstrated
financial need. Your gift will help keep these children in our
Catholic schools. Please be generous, and remember our Catholic
schools in your prayers.
The Diocese of Little Rock has an opening for a Secretary in
the Chancery Office. This full-time position provides
administrative support for the Chancellor for Canonical
Affairs. Compensation includes competitive pay and
excellent benefits. Minimum requirements include
secretarial or administrative support experience, previous
work history as parish volunteer or employee, familiarity
with the Diocese of Little Rock and its parishes and clergy,
excellent computer skills, and the ability to maintain
confidentiality. Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred

November is National Adoption Month
For over two decades, National Adoption Month has been
promoted and celebrated every November in communities across
the country. Many national, State, and local agencies as well as
foster, kinship care, and adoptive family groups help educate
their communities through programs, events, and activities that
aim to raise awareness about the thousands of children and
youth currently in foster care who are waiting for their own
permanent, loving families.
You don’t have to work in child welfare or be a parent to help
children in foster care. There are lots of ways to put your valuable
abilities to work for raising awareness and advocating on behalf

Este fin de semana es el inicio de la Campaña de Becas para

necesidad. Su donación ayudará a que los niños no paren de

Noviembre es el Mes Nacional de la Adopción
Por más de dos décadas, el Mes Nacional de la Adopción ha sido
promovido y celebrado cada noviembre en comunidades de todo

de orfanato, cuidado por parentesco y de familias adoptivas, han
ayudado a educar a sus comunidades por medio de programas,
eventos y actividades, para hacer conciencia acerca de los miles
de niños y jóvenes que necesitan una familia permanente que les
brinde cariño y cuidado.
No es necesario trabajar para alguna de esas agencias o ser uno de
esos padres adoptivos para poder ayudar a estos niños. Hay
