Its hard to believe that its been 43 years since the first issue of Traders Shoppers Guide rolled off the press. Back in 1973, things were much different. Traders averaged only 4 pages and had a circulation of approxi-mately 500 copies. Today, Traders has moved to the forefront of the market in southeast Wyoming and western Nebraska. Our most recent circulation audit indicates that almost 20,000 copies are picked up every issue. Throughout the month of January, all of Traders display advertisers will be recognized with a special Anniver-sary Symbol identifying their number of years as Traders advertisers. This is just one of the many promotions Traders will use to celebrate 43 great years of serving our communities. it Team will be sponsoring the very rst Perma U Sustainability Conference on Friday March 11 and Saturday March 12. The conference is limited to 200 participants and will offer workshops in vertical gardening, beekeeping, fermentation, mead making, rocket stoves, solar ovens, water ltration, soap mak-ing, natural medicine, and many other topics of inter-est to those interested in a more sustainable way of living. Registration is $100 per person for the entire

conference and includes lunch on Saturday as well as refreshments during session breaks.

There will also be an exhibit hall of vendors pro-moting sustainable products and services. The exhibit hall will be free and open to the public on Saturday,March 12. Community Bingo Night will be held on Thursday, March 3rd at Tri-umph High School for this school year. Dinner is $5 per person and includes all you can eat pancakes, sausage, and fruit with orange juice and coffee. Dinner will begin at 5 p.m. and run until 6:00 p.m. Com-munity bingo will begin at 6 p.m. Bingo is free to the public and everyone receives a free card to play. Ad-ditional bingo cards can be purchased. Bingo prizes are provided from the direct sales company represen-tatives who participate.

We will also direct sales compa-ny representatives and vendors who will have their new spring products and catalogs for shopping. In the past we have had representatives from Tupperware, StampinUp, Pam-pered Chef, Perfectly Posh, Jamber-ry, BP Jewelry, It Works, Tastefully Simple, Avon, Usborne Books, and

many more. We still have tables for rent for directsales vendors who would like to reserve one.

This has become a favorite event and is denitelya family favorite. Plan to join us for breakfast at din-ner followed by great games of bingo!
