Finding God in All Things: A Pilgrim Spirituality
The retreat will be based on the Spirituality of St. Ignatius Loyola, the spirituality that formed the Jesuit Pope Francis. Sr. Catherine will speak to us about the life of Ignatius, our identity in Christ as a Beloved of God, Imaginative Prayer, and Ignatian Discernment. Significant time will be provided for silent reflection, and faith-shar-ing will be integral to our retreat.
Sister Catherine HigginsSister Catherine Higgins, Spiritual Director at Sis-ters of St. Joseph, Baden, and Director, Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius, has many years experi-ence in education, human services and religious studies. She has been a companion to many on their journey to God in both group and individual settings.
Weekend AccommodationsCome join women of faith from your parish dur-ing a weekend of prayer, fellowship and reflec-tion. The Spiritan Center offers single room ac-commodations with dorm style showers. Your $135 provides a two nights stay with 5 meals and evening snacks. You will have the opportu-nity to receive the sacrament of reconciliation, attend daily/Sunday mass and participate in the Rosary and Eucharistic Adoration.
It is recommended that you pack warm comfort-able clothing, toiletries, a blanket and perhaps a Bible or any prayer materials you desire. Towels and linens will be provided, as well as a folder and paper for note-taking purposes throughout the re-treat. Sign in time begins at 7:00 p.m. Friday eve-ning and we conclude with lunch at approximately noon on Sunday.
