About UsThe Retreat Port Stephens is a unique tourism development, backing directly onto the largest living sand dune system in the Southern Hemisphere.

The Retreat is located in Anna Bay with the local shops just a 2 minute drive. We are central to all the activities and attractions

that Port Stephens has to offer, but with the secluded and peaceful nature setting of the bush.

We can also assist with the planning of your itinerary and book local attractions and facilities. National Parks offer great

educational talks and also guided tours. All of the attractions and facilities are within a 10 minute travel time which means

that many activities can be planned for a day.

CouplesThe Retreat offers a very private and peaceful location for couples. Whether you are a romantic weekend away, an adventure holiday or a food & wine experience then we have it all covered.

Our Cabins and Bungalows are ideal for couples

with queen beds, private bathroom, full kitchen

facilities, and open plan lounge/dining area with

flat screen TV and DVD players, sofa leather

lounges and great decks with outdoor settings.

Come away and relax while taking in the beauty

of the surrounding bushland. Spend time together

having a romantic BBQ dinner in our covered BBQ

areas, sitting around the camp fire with a glass of

wine and cheese platter or have a friendly game of

pool or table tennis in our games room.

Go for a leisurely stroll out to the sand dunes and over to the beach, or for the more

adventurous hire a sand board from the office and have an hour of action packed fun

on the dunes.

The Retreat also has a fantastic pool to have a quick dip and then relax around the

pool on our sun loungers reading that book you have been meaning to read.

Locally there are many things for couples to do, things to see and places to eat. Go for

a tandem parasail, go out for a Dolphin cruise and boom netting, many national park

walking tracks, learn to surf together, have a pamper day or go for an afternoon tea up

to the Inner Tea Lighthouse for coffee and freshly baked scones. Next door is Spectrum

Café which is great for those that like to go out for a late breakfast after a sleep in.

They offer both breakfast and lunch, make a great coffee and better still they just a 3

minute walk from your building.

The options are endless and you can plan to do as much or as little as you like.

It is all up to you.

AccommodationThe accommodation options for couples are our Cabins and Bungalows.

Both have 2 bedrooms with the main bedroom have a

Queen bed and are full self-contained.

With full kitchen facilities, private bathrooms, and open

plan lounge/dining area with flat screen TV and DVD

players, sofa leather lounges and great decks with

outdoor settings.

All bed linen and towels are provided as well as

complimentary Tea and coffee. All you have to do is get

here and start to relax.

All Cabins and Bungalows have carports alongside the

buildings for at least 1 car.

If you are looking to come away with other couples then

please see our groups booklet for building that you can

share but still have your own private bedrooms.
