Whilst the bluebells themselvesrollout their stunning carpet of colourin the May of each year, the Bluebell

wood also reveals a host of golden

As the Ladera project takes shape there will be the opportunity to build a dedicated spa for its residents to complement theextensive range of treatments available at the Mottram Hall Hotel.The plan is to equip the Ladera Spa with swim-sized tubs suitablefor hydrotherapy and full gym work-out supported by water. Variousforms of therapeutic treatments will be available to enable clients toenjoy a very healthy lifestyle.

The peaceful backdrop of the lake represents a focal point of theLadera grounds. For residents who enjoy recreational fishing, thelake is well-stocked with a good mix of fish species indigenous to

Walking

Cheshire has a strong history of cycling prowess and has itsown dedicated route the Cheshire Cycle Way. The late

world champion cyclist Reg Harris lived for some years ina nearby village. Whether you prefer to take a gentle ridethrough interesting countryside on an old railway track or wishto push yourself harder over mountain bike tracks you arereally spoilt for choice in the vicinity of the Ladera complex.

The magnificent local landmark - the Cloud - illustratesthe type of scenic walk available. The villages lying atthe foot of the nearby Pennine range offer a variety of

walks of differing degrees of difficulty, and all providea friendly English pub to afford you well-earnedrefreshment at the end of your exertions.

Cheshire has a strong tradition of horse-riding and stablesoffering full or part livery are numerous. The standard oftuition available to riders of all levels of ability is excellentand the choice of terrain is impressive. If you are a keenhorse-rider there could be no better venue than Ladera.
