Time and DateWhen advertising and TV Programme all newspaper adverts must include time and date to it as it gives awareness to the viewers what day and what time they will be able to watch the programme.
Channel 4 specifies the date and the time underneath the programme’s title.
Slogan• Most newspaper adverts contains a slogan which relates back to the
title, its main reason is to draw the audience’s attention to the adverts.
Mise en Scene• In newspaper adverts the mise en scene has to relate to the title as
much as possible and the whole advert must be selling the television programme/documentary.
The title of the programme is ‘Britain’s forgotten children’ and the mise en scene of the girl being swallowed by the ground and the other people just carrying on with their life as if the girl wasn’t there. This mise en scene does relate back to the title.
Colour Scheme• In order to make a print advert look neat and presentable is very
important to apply colour scheme to it.
In the print advert ‘more 4’ applied colour scheme green to its logo and also to the title. The colour scheme applied also helps to make the title and the logo to stand out as the image itself is in black and white.
