Learning Outcomes : By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to: 1. listen to the story “My New Computer’’ and identify the correct prepositions describing the position of the objects by answering Wh-questions orally. 2. answer at least five out of six sentences prepositions correctly by writing it in a passage of “My Father’s Office”.

Pictures of objects that can be found in a room in envelope:

-a cupboard

-a table

-a laptop

-a chair

Teachers instructions :1. First, the table is near to the window.

2. A chair is in front of the table.

3. A clock is on the wall.

4. The printer is next to the computer. 1. Teacher divides pupils into groups of four or five. 2. Teacher asks pupils to create their own room using prepositions.

3. Teacher gives each group an envelope with picture in it and a manila card.

4. Teacher reads the instructions and pupils paste the pictures on the manila card. 5. Pupils describe the position of the furniture using the prepositions learnt. 6. Pupils do peer checking by exchanging their work with other groups. 7. Teacher elicits moral values of cooperation among members.
