Business is about people. It is about communication, relationships and about presenting yourself, your company and your ideas in the most positive and impactful way. Soft skills refer to a very diverse range of abilities such as Self-awareness, Analytical thinking, Leadership skills, Team-building skills, Flexibility, Ability to communicate effectively, Creativity…

Many people often refer to 'soft skills' as 'people skills' or 'emotional intelligence'. Soft skills are essential for professional success.

In today's competitive world, it’s not just enough to have a good degree or a good job. What is required is having the right skills to get the best job and give your best performance. Soft skills are not a replacement for technical-skills. They are, in many instances, complementary, and serve to unlock the potential for highly effective performance in people qualified with the requisite technical skills. Technical skills are the technical abilities required to do a job or perform a task. The development of 'soft skills' in this market is important when there is intense competition for many available positions.

Soft skills are fast becoming the deal breaker in many of today's hiring decisions. Candidates are rarely measured according to how well they can re-iterate the technical specifications of their products and services, but rather on their ability to motivate an organization, to assess the performance of their staff, to make clear and well-balanced decisions, and, first and foremost, their ability to develop and communicate ideas and visions.

For some people, these skills come naturally, while others need to work harder at them. Some personality types are filled with horror at the thought of public speaking and networking with strangers, while others flourish in this type of situation. Some find it difficult to be assertive and a strong negotiator, others can be too aggressive.

Soft Skills refer to those people skills which is largely influenced by ones personality and outlook and which helps a person in adjusting well and dealing successfully with his environment, work, home, social circle and personal fronts too. Soft skills knowledge and training enable a person to add the extra edge to his personality and behavioral skills to perform better and reach the desired levels in life.

Many business people like to think that success is based on logical, rational thoughts and acts, but the human element should never be ignored. Which is why a strong soft skills set is vitally important.

Soft Skills – a ladder to professional success!

DOB:

One word to describe your personality:

Hobbies:

List 1 thing you wish you could change about yourself:

If you could start your own restaurant, who would be your first customer from i360:

If you could have 3 wishes granted, what would they be:

If you HAD to change your name, what would you change it to:

If you won $20 million in the lottery, what would you do with the money:

If aliens landed in front of you and, in exchange for anything you desire, offered you any position on their planet, what would you want:

About i360:

7th April

Logoleptic

Watching English movies , Delving into the words (Etymology & Philology), and so forth

Naivety

I am not a soothsayer, therefore the same is hard to prognosticate

This reminds me of a trite apophthegm “If wishes were horses, beggars would ride it” meaning it is useless to wish; better results will be achieved through action. I, however, would say without second thought that my first wish is to procure Visa for UK. Second is to be well-heeled but not filthy rich as I am not avaricious and the third is to undo some inexorable mishaps I fell prey to

I am only too happy with my current name

Once again the aforementioned saying is occurring to me. It's indeed a behemoth, I would donate half the amount to a trustworthy charity association to augment eleemosynary relief, a quarter of the same would go to my parents and the final quarter would come in handy to rid me of my penury or indigence (hyperbole)

I always adhere to the efficacious adages “Don't Count Your Chickens (Until They've Hatched)” and “I'll cross that bridge when I come to it”. I opine the rest doesn't need to be told

i360 is a combination of I and 360 signifying “I am consummate” I stands for the student availing himself/herself of the courses and the training provided at i360 and 360 symbolizes Consummation i.e. Completion or perfection

About i360 and Ozone:

15th June

Adventurous

Sports, Music & Painting

To acquire an ever smiling face… just like my mom

I would want my whole i360 team to be a part of my success irrelevant of any order of preference

• Infinite health

• Infinite reasons to smile

• The third one, I would save for a rainy day...

It is my identity…and would not prefer changing it

• First I would send my parents for a grand vacation

• Then I would buy a black Honda Accord form myself

• Then throw a party for all my friends

• Rest I would invest for the future

Would like to see myself in the position of Indra Nooyi
