Gamification Level 2 The situation Climate Change threatens the livelihoods of ecosystems and the lives of people.

The increase in global temperature of the planet caused by human activities such as:

● Excess Litter Pollution● Pollution from burning fossil fuels● Deforestation● Agriculture and uncontrolled use of

pesticides based on nitrous oxide● Excesses in the consumer society

Gamification Level 2 Consequences The impact on nature can be seen now in:

● Melting glaciers around the world● Polar Ice Breakup● Permafrost Thaw● Death Coral reefs and biodiversity● Increased sea levels● Flooding across the globe● Great Droughts and heat waves

Gamification Level 2 Solutions Solution 1:

● We can expect that the governments of polluting countries to agree with the international community and solve the problem. Something that we are expecting from the Kyoto protocol without any results or can put all hopes on the commitments made in Paris in 2015.

Gamification Level 2 Solutions Solution 2:

● Solution 2 is to design an experience of Gamification to start changing climate through individual effort of every citizen.The initiative will complete a series of challenges that will take us on a journey from a person insensitive to climate change, to a human being committed to a paradigm shift.

You have five differents groups of challenges:

● Energy Conservation● Saving water● Recycling● Sustainable Food● Sustainable clothing

Gamification Level 2 Game Mechanics The player will have more than 500 challenges, those challenges are related with good practices that a normal person could do in order to achieve levels of "GREEN BEING".

As you are reaching levels of accomplishment in the challenges you earn points, you will be motivated earning badges, climbing to different levels in the pathway to the Mastery.

The leaderboards will be used to indicated the progress of the players like relative percentages against their control groups: locality or friends, never one absolute positions against other players.

Gamification Level 2 Type of Players The nature itself of the contest is oriented to players with special sensitivity about the sustainability but their have lack of knowledge about how to improve the planet doing small fixes in their normal lives:

● Achievers● Socializers

Gamification Level 2 Technological Platforms To implement the Gamification action we are going to use the following platforms:

● Web Page in order to:○ Update the player profile○ Create a friends network if the player wants.

○ Explain the benefits of completing the challenges in terms of social good.

○ Release new content as you advance in the levels of the game

○ Calculate your carbon footprint○ Review your stats related with the game

○ Publish news relevant for you and your community related with “BE GREEN”

Gamification Level 2 Technological Platforms ● One App multi platform in order to:

○ Give you the guidelines, step by step, in the player journey to be GREEN.

○ Allows the players enter the data regarding the challenges.

○ Receive instant feedback regarding your points, badges, levels and the leaderboard.

○ Let the players communicate with their friends inside the game.

Feeling of satisfaction to contribute to improving the planet from individual action

Extrinsic rewards:

A certificate of "GREEN WORLD CITIZEN" valid for two years and can be placed on the card or on LinkedIn
