Dear parents!
Shaping the young minds is really very important in school as well as at home. Our endeavor gets true colour when we
continuously get your kind support in all the activities whether scholastics or co-scholastics. True education makes us able
to discover ourselves, makes us competent for how to face the challenges in life by learning different skills. It builds our
character and makes us confident. Education makes us to be a better human being in the society. So it is our duty to
transform the young minds by our joint venture. So let’s join hands to make our students to be BEEs, that is Bachelors of
Energy and Enthusiasm to learn all the skills. I congratulate all the students to take active part in making the month go
eventful and I congratulate and thank the parents to have encouraged the children for the same.
I attended the 23rd
National Sahodaya Conference on Quality Education on the 2nd
and 3rd
of
November at Madurai. It was really an educative session for two days where expert speakers
from the field of education, medicine, business, Yoga as well as experts like musician and
Spiritual guru spoke to more than nine hundred Principals who attended from across the
nation. I owe to my benevolent Management for making me attend the conference.
Inter-Vikash Literary and Cultural Competitions were held on 2nd and 3rd November-2017. The best three of each
item those were selected and awarded in Talent Search – 2017 participated in these competitions. The winners of
the Inter-Vikash will be felicitated on the occasion of Annual Function of the school.

OBSERVATION OF TOY DAY

Sahodaya Inter School Solo song Competition Organized at ACC VIKASH CEMENT NAGAR ENGLISH MEDIUM SCHOOL
TOY DAY was observed by the KG students. The students of LKG & UKG brought
different toys and played in the school. The teachers also entertained them by
telling stories and rhymes.

the aegis of Sahodaya Schools Complex W.O.
Sambalpur was organized in our School where
students of 16 schools of the Sahodaya family
participated and made it a grand success. In the
inaugural meeting Dr Rabi Narayan Sahoo,
Secretary of the Complex joined as the Guest of
honour and inaugurated the programme by
lighting the Mangaldeep. The Principal offered
the welcome address to the guests and
gathering. Mr Dipanshu Acharya, Mr
Prashanta Acharya and Mr Kali Charan Bag
were the honourable judges of the competition.
The guests, Judges and all the people present
there praised the endeavour and the
presentation of the participants. In the closing
meeting Mr Sisir Prasad Raulo, Chairman of
the Complex encouraged the participants,
thanked the principals of all the schools and
honoured the winners with trophies. He also
felicitated the judges of the day. Miss Astha
Mahapatra, Vikash Residential School, Miss
Grecy Nisha Singhal of Rotary Public School
and Miss Sneha Bose of D.A.V Jharsuguda
stood 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively. The total
program was co-ordinated by our teachers Mr
Bapun Rout and Miss Disha Singhari with the
support of all other teachers. Mr Dillip Kumar
Behera offered the vote of thanks.

14th November-2017 CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATION
The 128th
birthday of Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru was celebrated as Childrens’ day in our School. Mr Anil Kumar Dubey, GM, HR, ACC,BCW,
esteemed chief guest and Honourable Principal of the school lighted up the holy lamp and offered flowers at the portrait of Pt Jawaharlal
Nehru. On this occasion the chief guest addressed the gathering and inspired the children a lot. He told that today’s generation is too intelligent
and innovative. He, encouraged the teachers to put more efforts to bring the children up to pinnacle. He also stated that both teachers and
parents should join hands to develop the students and prepare them by creating a platform for their future career. The teachers of the school
played the role of the students on this grand occasion. Mr Deepak Seth played the role of head boy and Ms Preeti Patra as head girl in the
morning assembly. Mr Dhiren Bhoi and Mr Shankar Behera presented the welcome song. The school had organized a fancy dress competition
on the eve of Children’s Day. The winners of the same were awarded by the chief guest . The programme was made more attractive and
pompous by the students of different houses with their thrilling dances. The entire programme was coordinated by Mr Bapun Rout and Mr
Mantu Debta offered the vote of thanks.
National Education Day was observed on 11th
November-2017. A special assembly was organized. The Principal
offered flower to the portrait of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad as it was the birth anniversary of him. He was the first
Education Minister of Independent India. Teacher Disha Singhari coordinated the programme. The principal inspired
the students to be educated. We have conducted Debate Competition on the topic ‘IMPORTANCE OF WOMEN
EDUCATION IN NATION BUILDING’ and a Group Discussion on the topic ‘EDUCATION& NATION.

INTER HOUSE COMPETITIONS-2017
ANNUAL SCIENCE & ART EXHIBITION was held on 25th
November-2017. Mr Anil Singhewar, Plant
Head,ACC, was the Chief Guest and Sj D.Murali Krishna, Chairman,VGI was the Guest of Honour in the
august presence of Sj G. Bhaskar Rao, MD, VGI, Mr Anil Kumar Dubey, GM, HR and Mr L.K. Srivastav
Principal ACC Vikash Dunguri Campus. A number of Arts, Crafts and Model & Experiments on Science,
Mathematics, Social Science and Charts on Languages (Hindi, Odia, Sanskrit, English) were presented nicely
by the students. Guests and Parents as well as the visitors appreciated a lot.
Inter House Matches were held in this month among the four houses of the school viz Mahanadi, Godavari,
Ganga and Yamuna. The sports are like Cricket, Football, Dodge Ball, Hand Ball, Carrom, Kho Kho, Kabadi etc.
The students as well the house masters showed their game spirit in the matches and made the programme smooth
