The chassis consist of the following parts :

1.1. BackplaneBackplane - connect all the components together2. Shelf manager - control and monitor all of the chassis

component

3.3. Fan trayFan tray - supply sufficient air flow and velocity to the shelf in order to withstand within the ATCA specifications.

4.4. Air filterAir filter - filtering the ingoing air in to the chassis

5.5. SEEPROMs SEEPROMs - containing data about the chassis and the manufacture

6.6. PEM PEM - supplying sufficient power to the shelf for normal operation.

7.7. Front Blades area Front Blades area - areas in which the third party Blades slide into.

8.8. RTM areasRTM areas - areas in which the third party RTM slide into.
