Home Learning Term 2 2015 Year 4 Completion date Tuesday 30 th June Reading – 15 minutes daily. Set yourself a challenge how many different types of books can you read? Record your books in the back of your Home Learning book. Daily learning of words (use the technique of look, cover, say, write, check, write, check.) 2. Select 3 words from your list each week and write an interesting sentence for each word and PROOF Read them. Do this activity in your home learning exercise books. 3. Any problems, don’t worryplease see your class teacher EARLY! Time organisation – most tasks should take you between 30 minutes and an hour. If you complete ONE task each week, you should easily be able to manage this workload. Variety of presentation – think about your audience and how they learn best e.g. visual and auditory and which presentation method best shows what you have learnt and want to share e.g. written, 3D, poster, brochure etc. Task criteria take time to read/identify/clarify what this task would look like when successfully completed. Remember to plan your tasks in advance and get Mum or Dad to sign them off when completed. Teach  your  parents  The  best  way  to  retain  new  knowledge  is  to  teach  someone  else!    ● Research  and  then  explain  to  your  parents  how
