you about all your health problems, your medical history, and your healthcare goals. “Many times doctors onlyhave about 10 to 15 minutes tospend with their patients,” says Sam.“Typically my initial visit with a pa-tient lasts for an hour. Once I knowall of my patient’s health issues, I candevelop a treatment plan to get theirbody back in balance so it can healand maintain. I don’t just put abunch of needles into their skin. Thetreatment is specific, measurable andrepeatable. Before I even begin thetreatment I take time to understandwhat is going on with them, becauseI have to fix their spirit before I caneven make a dent in whats botheringthem physically.”

A common question Sam isoften asked is, ‘do the needles hurt?’.Sam says, “The needles are virtuallypainless, so if the reason you are notcoming in is because you are afraid ofneedles, you have nothing to worryabout. They are sterile, one-time useneedles and are so thin; they are

nothing like the needles used whengetting a vaccine or blood draw.”

Hair Analysis Another unique thing that Opti-

mal Living Clinic offers is their hairanalysis test, which can help test formineral and nutrient imbalances. Asilent, yet debilitating culprit, mineraland nutrient imbalances can cause somany different issues, includingchronic auto-immune disorders, de-pression, muscle cramping, weightproblems, arthritis, high blood pres-sure, cognitive impairment, and somuch more; the list goes on and on.

The hair analysis test can alsotest for elevated levels of toxic met-als, such as lead, mercury, cadmium, arsenic, and aluminum.

Making it really affordable to allof her clients, Sam offers this exten-sive test for only $77. So, whetheryou are looking for answers to yourchronic health issues, are worriedabout being exposed to environmen-tal toxins (which is quite commonnow a days), or are just wanting tomake sure your body is getting thenutrients and minerals it needs tofunction at its most optimal levels, I

suggest you come in and take the testand see for yourself what is going onwith your body!

“I recommend anyone to comeand get the hair analysis test, espe-cially if you have a chronic issue orcondition that other doctors havebeen unable to figure out,” says Sam.“The test is more in depth, and maybe able to provide you with some an-swers to your questions as to whyyou are feeling the way you are.”

A perfect accompaniment to heracupuncture, Sam also helps her pa-tients to live healthier, fuller lives

through nutritional counseling. Shesays, “I don’t have a conversationwith anybody without talking aboutnutrition. All of us can make side im-provements, even if it is just one de-gree of change. I like using food as amedicine. Eating properly can helpyour body heal. Sometimes it is assimple as adding some amazing foodsinto your diet – ones that can helpyour body to repair itself. I do notfocus on depriving yourself of any-thing that you enjoy, but insteadadding the proper nutrients and sup-plements to help your body function
