underutilized resource in America;
and the Moose Fraternity has
Battalions of them. It’s time to
organize for our own common
interests: Family, Community,
Moose Fraternity, God and
Country; while we enjoy the mutual
benefits of Camaraderie.

OPERATION MOOSE VET
PHASE I — ORGANIZATION
We should identify every veteran,
men and women in every lodge into a
lodge veterans network roster, listing.
There are heroes amongst us, so
identify veteran’s uniqueness. We
are losing older veterans daily, but
we still have veterans of: Pearl Har-
bor, WW II, NO. Africa, Pacific Is-
lands, Battle of the Bulge. D-Day, Ba-
taan Death March, Ex-POWs, Korea,
Iwo Jima, Grenada, Lebanon, Bosnia,
VietNam, Haiti, Gulf Wars OEF/OIF,
and ETC. List their branch and years
of service as well as their military
specialty skills; and LATER we’ll get
into their ‘war stories’. There are veteran’s memorial programs
at the State Capitol each year to honor
these veterans and we/Moose should be,
and should be seen to be, a patriotic or-
ganization honoring OUR veterans. We
are creating a master information shar-
ing database and seek to provide more
information and services to our veterans
and their dependents.
We should have a
Veterans Team at
every DISTRICT!

share new infor-
mation-timely!
