The First Time Parent Group is a seven week program which aims to support first time parents in their new role. Adapted to suit the needs of families, discussion may include transition to parenthood, sleep and settling, diet and active play, parenting resources, and forming playgroups. All first time parents are invited to attend this program soon after the birth of their baby.

• Open Consultation Sessions Drop in for further review in between your child’s scheduled Key Age and Stage visits.• Breast Feeding Support Consult with one of our lactation consultants or maternal and child health nurses for support with feeding your child breast, bottle or solid foods.

This program is suitable for babies up to 3.5 years of age. It provides information and support to help parents better understand their child’s sleep patterns and behaviours. Get advice on sleep strategies and settling techniques and gain support to better cope with sleep disruption.

Designed to promote healthy eating and active play behaviours in parents and their children. Get the right start by improving your knowledge, skills and strategies related to your infants first year of development. This program is age relevant to your child’s birth month. Four sessions are offered when your child is 3, 6, 9 and 12+ months of age.
