• GP referral to Consultant • Infusion booked by Consultant’s secretary • Insurance pre-authorisation required for all

patients if not self paying• Phone call from Infusion nurse the week

• Admission directly to St Veronica’s Ward

• Admitted by Infusion nurse, IV cannula sited and bloods taken.

• Rapid laboratory turnaround available – approx 60 – 90 minutes.

• For Aclasta infusion – time in hospital approx 2 hours.
