to feel thedifferenceWith a site builtaround its customersWork is developing apace at SMA’s newauction centre currently being developednear Birmingham, ready for launch earlyin the New Year.
The goal is simple: to provide vendors and buyerswith a state-of-the-art purpose built auction facility.
Within minutes of Junction 10 of the M6, the new centre iseasily accessible and will provide plenty of car parking andsecure storage. As well as a dual-lane auction facility, the centrewill feature SMA Technical Services with a full paint andpreparation area. Inside the centre, SMA has asked both buyersand sellers for their ideal facilities and are now building them; afull cafeteria, a buyers lounge, a choice of rooms that can beused for training and meetings and centre wide free Wi-Fi arejust part of what is on offer.
But perhaps what makes SMA stand out most of all is the ‘CanDo” culture, and Centre Manager Nigel Binks is ahead of thegame with recruitment, with all the staff required to open thesite now on-board and training well under way. SMABirmingham is designed to be The Remarketing Destination forthe Midlands and as Nigel reflects this is being achieved byasking buyers and vendors exactly what they want and thendelivering it:
