Nutrients are components that we get from plants or

animals and these component contain some

ingredients that are needed by our body

There are six types of nutrients:

1. Carbohydrates

What are carbohydrates?main source of

ENERGY for our body

How much do we need?

50-60% of our daily intake should come from

carbohydrates

providing 4 calories of energy per gram
