Mobile Ground Penetrating Radar (MGPR)LandScope’s mobile radar service allows for the rapid and e�cientacquisition of Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) data over large areas. Amulti-antenna GPR array is towed behind a highways survey vehicle,covering a large swath with each pass.

The MGPR system has been developed by LandScope’s team ofgeophysicists and surveyors, in association with UTSI Electronics, todeliver a modular design allowing �exible con�guration of number ofchannels, frequencies and sampling routes to ensure suitability toa wide range of applications.

Antenna frequencies and con�gurations can be selected to suit siteconditions and target requirements. All data is geo-referenced usingGNSS and inertial navigation systems, providing the surveyor with a‘snail trail’ display ensuring full survey coverage.

For buried utility mapping the system provides e�ciently for highresolution 3D mapping of subsurface features in accordance with thehigher order PAS-128 speci�cations whilst mitigating the requirementfor costly tra�c management scenarios.

Integration with Mobile Mapping

The mobile GPR solution may be readily integrated with a mobilemapping survey to provide an accurate and detailed understandingof assets above and below the ground.

LandScope operates sophisticated software solutions from OrbitGeospatial Technologies and Roadscanners to ensure fully geo-referenced data sets (imagery, LiDAR and radar) which provide the enduser with an intuitive and highly accurate processing and visualisationenvironment.
