• Four days training programme for NICMAR students studying

Post graduate Programme in Health Safety and Environment

(PGP HSEM) on “Environmental Pollution Monitoring” from 30th

March to 2nd April, 2015 at Environment Protection Training and

Research Institute (EPTRI), Gachibowli, Hyderabad.

• One Week Compulsory Training Course on “Clean Development

Mechanism and Renewable Energy With Special Reference To Bio-

Fuels” sponsored by the Ministry of Environment and Forests &

Climate Change (MoEFCC), Government of India, New Delhi held

from 6th to 10th July, 2015 at Environment Protection Training

and Research Institute (EPTRI), Gachibowli, Hyderabad.

New Initiatives Herbarium

In view of International Biodiversity, there is a meet on 25th May

on “Biodiversity Rules and Acts”

Planning to Conduct a meeting with NGO’s /Academics

Institutions regarding the Studies on Eastern Ghats

Planning to conduct National Seminar on Eastern Ghats at the

end of the year.

Received an MoU from the Department of Botany, Osmania

College (A) Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, India with EPTRI,

Hyderabad agreed to exchange material related to research

facilities, exploration of flora, identification of medicinal plants to

students, staff and to enhance research skills.

Yogi Vemana University is showing willingness to tie up with

EPTRI for R&D works.

assigned subject area.

• Collection of Abstracts, News articles on the subject area and

uploading the same in the website.

• Development of time series data on various topics like Water

pollution, Air pollution, Climate, Agriculture production, Waste

Management etc.

• Collection and uploading of relevant data in Indian State

Level Basic Environment Information Database (ISBEID)

modules collected from various departments/ organizations.

• Year wise data collection for the State and Districts are be

carried out for ISBEID modules as per the ENVIS Secretariat

format.

Publication of Newsletters -“Paryavaranam” with latest news and current

issues related to State of Environment of Andhra Pradesh, as per ENVIS

Secretariat.

Incorporation of new clippings and photo of flora and fauna and

environment related issues in the website

Action plan with time lines will be prepared for collection of data and

uploading the same in the ISBEID website.

Conducting Swachh Bharat Program in Govt./Private schools on different

environment related issues.

SoE Report for Telangana, 2015. We have

conducted steering committee meeting on 28th

December, 2015, Resource person meeting on

13th January, 2016 and Four Regional

Stakeholder consultation workshops at

Hyderabad on 24th February, 17th March at

Khammam, Mahbubnagar on 22nd March and

Adilabad on 29th March, 2016.
