Perunding Kos T & K Sdn Bhd is known to incorporated
since March 1998 as a Quantity Surveying Consultant.
Prior to 1998, the firm was practicing under the style of
PKT Associates, a partnership firm established in 1991.
The firm is registered with Lembaga Jurukur Bahan
Malaysia (LJBM Reg. No: 1998/FC00250) and Ministry of Finance (MOF).
AS A QUNTITY SURVEYOR : - She was working on it for 3 years as the project was
about 50% completed. - She came and paid visits to the construction site at
least once a month. - She checked and paid the contractor, as she calculated
on how much she had to pay to the contractor.

CONSTRUCTED INDUSTRY STAGES :
1. Feasibility: It is where the QS along with the other
people such as architects, landscape architects and
engineers plan and consult with the client.
2. Pre contract: After the drawings are made, the QS has
to take off the quantity, and convert the bill of quantities.
3. Post construction: The QS will finish checking
everything in the construction.
A QUANTITY SURVERYOR’S JOB :
- Calculate the cost of the building. E.G.: How many
levels in a building do they each cost?
- Tender documentation: Prepare contracts, in which
they have to use their knowledge of general lawyer and
accountancy.
- Obtain architectural and construction industry
knowledge.
- Use 3-D software to calculate the building.
