Quantity Surveyor – Leading Architectural Firm

My client are a leading Architectural firm, predominantly focusing on the housing sector. As a practice, they offer a full range of design and building services including, but not limited to, building consultancy, planning, interior design and landscape. The majority of their projects are based in London although they do have projects in the Middle East and Europe.

As a Quantity Surveyor with Employer’s Agent experience, you will have experience within cost-planning, estimating and strong knowledge of Design and Build Contract’s. You will be MRICS chartered and looking to progress in to a Management role in the near future. This opportunity would suit someone who wants to play an integral role in helping develop an already, highly reputable Cost Consultancy department.

Cost planning

Procurement and Tender evaluation

Delivering projects

Estimating

Cost Reporting

Contract Administration

Employer’s Agent

Basic Requirements:

A BSc degree in Quantity Surveying or related

3-5 years post degree experience

Strong interpersonal skills

Self-motivated and ambitious

Experience within housing

MRICS

Preferred Requirements:

Experience of working in a consultancy

Sociable nature

Motivated to progress within your career

Experience of dealing with clients directly

In return you will be offered:

£50,000-£65,000 per annum (dependant on experience)
