The MW 15131MP is a direct analog, full band synthesizer, designed for OEM'srequiring, phase and frequency coherent. With less than 1 microsec settling timefrom any frequency to any frequency, this synthesizer covers the full frequencyrange of 2.0 to 18.0 GHz (Option: 0.5-18GHz).

The product is based on a 13.0 to 14.6 GHz synthesizer with a 1Hz frequencystep and 1microsec settling time that is converted to cover the entire 2-18GHz frequencyband. The fine frequency step block includes three decade modules that control thedecade of the output frequency step (1Hz, 10KHz, 100KHz, 1MHz, 10MHz steps).The basic 100 MHz resolution can be selected within 50 nsec. Each decademodule reduces the speed by 250 nsec, so the accumulated settling time is asfollows:

The Synthesizer unit includes a low noise 100MHz Internal OCXO with an accuracyand temp. stability of 0.1ppm. In addition, an external reference can be used forphase noise improvement, system coherence and user special requirements.The unique internal design of this synthesizer ensures 70dBc minimum spuriousrejection.

The MW 15131MP Mainframe Rack offers convenient housing for oneor two RF synthesizer modules within the same 19" enclosure.

The MW 15131MR is a 19" Single/Dual mainframe rack used for the housingand operation of one or two Elisra MW 15131P RF synthesizer modules.The rack is suitable for 110/220 VAC operation and includes: switching powersupplies, reference oscillator and interfacing hardware.

The power supplies deliver +6.5V, -15V, and +15 to the synthesizer modules.Each rack contains one/two independent sets of RF and Control connectorsinterfacing one or two synthesizers Modules.

Each set, used to interface one RF module, includes a frequency controlconnector (D-type, 50 pin), an SMA connector for analog FM modulation inputand an N-Type connector for main RF output.

The mainframe rack includes a low noise 100MHz Internal OCXO with accuracyand temp. stability of 0.1 ppm.An optional, low noise high stability 0.01 ppm OCXO is available.
