and/or follow the ATC instructions.

2.2 OUTBOUND TRAFFIC

2.2.1 STARTING PROCEDURES

a. In order to allow ATC units to co-ordinate ATC CLRs, pilots shall request start-up 10 MIN before it is expected that theACFT will be ready to request taxi instructions.

b. The ATC CLR issued upon this initial call is based on the assumption that, from the time of readiness, an average periodof 10 MIN is needed for start-up, taxi and TKOF manoeuvres.

c. Consequently, any call made deliberately in advance of the 10 MIN required hereabove and made without reasonableassurance of being ready in time, may result in disruption of the DEP sequence and cause delay for the operators.

2.2.2 ATC CLIMB REQUIREMENTS

Pilots-in-command of DEP ACFT routing via SPI - AMASI shall select a climb profile in order to be able to cross SPI at FL 240or above. Flights unable to meet this climb requirement may expect rerouting via SPI-LIRSU-AMASI.

2.2.3 STANDARD INSTRUMENT PROCEDURES

2.2.3.1 RWY 11

2.2.3.1.1 General

The SID established for RWY 11 are compulsory.

2.2.3.1.2 Noise Abatement Take-off and Climb Procedures

2.2.3.1.3 Routes description

See chart AD2 EBAW SID.01

When on final approach for RWY 29 and until touchdown, VFR flights shall not fly below the glide slope indicated by the PAPI.

4.1.4 OUTBOUND TRAFFIC

DEP ACFT shall comply with the ATC instructions. They shall leave via the REP points/HLDG locations around the CTR toreport leaving the CTR (see chart AD2 EBAW VAC.01).

EBAW AD 2.23 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

1 LOW VISIBILITY PROCEDURES

1.1 DESCRIPTION OF FACILITIESRWY 29 is approved for low visibility TKOF when RVR ≥ 150 m.

The RWY is equipped with markings, THR lights, edge lights, end lights and centre line lights (15 m spacing in two electricalcircuits).

1.2 CRITERIA FOR THE INITIATION AND TERMINATION OF LVPThe preparation phase will start when VIS or RVR (whichever is lower) falls below 800 m and further deterioration is expected.

The operations phase will start when RVR falls below 550 m.

The operations phase will be terminated when RVR is ≥ 550 m and a continuing improvement is anticipated.

The termination phase ends when the RVR or VIS (whichever is lower) reaches 800 m.

1.3 DESCRIPTION OF LVP

• Pilots will be informed of the start and ptermination of the LVP by RTF.• During the operational phase the movement of traffic on the manoeuvring area is limited to 1 aircraft at a time, guided by

a follow-me car.• The aircraft will be guided from aircraft stand to the RWY holding point and (after clearance from EBAW GND) further to

the line-up position• After the follow-me car has reported vacating the RWY, the pilot will be instructed to contact the air frequency and report

"ready for departure".• The next aircraft for departure may only start its (guided) taxi when the preceding departure has reported being airborne.

1.4 GROUND MOVEMENT RESTRICTIONSDuring the operations phase only 1 aircraft and follow-me car will be allowed on the manoeuvring area.

During the operations phase taxiing will only be authorized on TWY A, B and F.

During the preparation phase and the termination phase taxiing will be done by preference on TWY A, B and F.
