STONY CREEK FREE LIBRARY TO HOLD WORKSHOPAre shopping bags clogging up your pantry? Ellie Benoit will beteaching a workshop for anyone interested in learning to crocheta tote from common plastic shopping bags. This two-sessionworkshop will be held on Monday, May 12 and Monday, May 26at 6:30 p.m. at the library. Cost of the two classes is $5.00 andparticipants should bring good scissors, shopping bags, and acrochet hook size G or larger. Extra bags and hooks will also beavailable for those who don't have them. On May 26, Ellie will demonstrate and assist the class in craftinga fabric liner for the totes. All are encouraged to bring sewing ma-chines and thread. Fabric will be provided and there will be extramachines available. Participants are welcome to bring favoritefabrics of their own or to share. ARTWORK ON DISPLAY - The artwork of Hadley-Luzerne K-12students will be featured at Aimieʼs Dinner and a Movie in GlensFalls. There will be a showcase of over 100 pieces of art. Anopening night reception is planned for May 8th, from 6:30-8:00.Refreshments will be served and the High School Jazz Band willprovide entertainment. If you are unable to attend the openingnight, all artwork will be on display until June 1st. Please stop byto see the great work of our students!

Are they now being used every day, every period, for justlabs?-Why are they worried about ʻmixingʼ age groups when for yearsPreK-2 has been mixing with them when going to gym class, theauditorium, cafeteria and riding the same buses for years?-Why are we doing this building project and spending all thismoney?-Why is $375,000 of our Reserve Fund being used to help fundthis building project? What happens when we have an emer-gency expense and our reserve fund is drained?

Tips On Preserving BladesWhile no wiper blade lasts forever, ACDelco Professional Service Center Program technicians rec-ommend these tips to prolong blade life and preserve your visibility:• Clean your windshield at every fill-up.• Wipe the rubber blade with a damp paper towel to remove loose dirt.• Never use windshield wipers to remove ice from your windshield. The stress can damage theblade as well as the motor. Use an ice scraper or defroster.
• In the winter, pull up wipers to prevent the squeegee from icing and sticking to the glass.
• Use a quality washer solvent; cheap ones are full of alcohol, which dries the rubber.
