Prairie Rural Water Authority’s Valley County Phase 3, Schedule 1 – Pipeline Project will be received by Dry Prairie Rural Water Authority at the Dry Prairie Rural Water Authority Of-fice, Culbertson, Montana, until 1:30 P.M., Mountain Time on July 9, 2013, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. Bids will be acted upon by the Owner at a later time. The Project shall consist of one (1) contract for the following work and approxi-mate quantities and kinds of materials:

Schedule 1 – PipelineConstruction of approximately 32 miles

of buried pipeline, 1½-inch to 8-inch diam-eter, service to 34 users, furnish and installa-tion of the Glasgow master meter pit, valves, crossings, and appurtenant work.

All proposals shall be made on forms provided by the Engineer.

Each bid must be accompanied by bid security payable to the Owner for ten percent (10%) as a bidder’s bond. As soon as the bid prices have been compared, the Owner will return the bond of all except the three low-est, responsive, responsible bidders for each Schedule. When the contract is awarded, the bonds of the two remaining unsuccessful bidders will be returned. The bond of the suc-cessful bidder will be retained until the con-tract and surety bond have been executed and approved, after which it will be returned.

With submittal of a Bid, the Contractor represents that he has visited the site, famil-iarized himself with the local conditions under which the work is to be performed, and corre-lated his observations with the requirements of the Contract Documents.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to accept any bid. It is understood that the work to be done is being financed with funds from the state of Mon-tana and the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation.
