Conclusions
Understanding the applicable regulatory requirements is the first step towards
developing a global program for managing high hazard operations
Integrating risk assessment within all areas of an EHS management program is essential
for understanding the nature of high hazard operations and processes
Managing a repository of best practices / lessons learned will be critical to disseminating
how to best address high hazards across the organization
Frequent review of programs and tools and how they are used is a fundamental part of
implementing a global program
