Relationship between lyrics and visuals There is definitely more of a relationship when the lyrics in the chorus are concerned, as Kyle is miming ‘I know why you’re scared of me’ you will see him running away from someone he seems scared of. Other than that there is not much relationship as we more concentrate on the visual matching the song. Relationship between music and visuals The music is very upbeat and high tempo and that coincides with our video as there is lots of fast shots of running, and a lot of the time the camera will be handheld. Also we matched the visual to the bet of the music, especially towards the end where Kyle is getting followed and is shouting into the camera. Own music style, iconography We don’t shy away from the particular genre, being rock. You would expect our video to be associated with a rock/ upbeat song if you had it on mute. Most rock videos you see, the music will be absolutely key, where’s ours is concerned that is the case, if ours was muted you would have no idea what was going on. The only iconic thing we don’t have is the band playing the instruments, you would expect to see the band at some point.

Relationship between lyrics and visualsThere is definitely more of a relationship when the lyrics in the chorus are concerned, as Kyle is miming ‘I know why you’re scared of me’ you will see him running away from someone he seems scared of. Other than that there is not much relationship as we more concentrate on the visual matching the song.

Relationship between music and visualsThe music is very upbeat and high tempo and that coincides with our video as there is lots of fast shots of running, and a lot of the time the camera will be handheld. Also we matched the visual to the bet of the music, especially towards the end where Kyle is getting followed and is shouting into the camera.

Own music style, iconographyWe don’t shy away from the particular genre, being rock.

Demand of lots of close-up of the artists/lead singerWe did compare our video to some of Coldplay's videos, in all of them near enough ‘Chris Martin’ will be the main object in the video, more often or not he will be the only one out of the band in it. He is always singing right into the camera, Kyle definitely does that, he is also playing a character. Our video would be very pleasing for a record company as we focus on the lead singer and their persona.

The artist develops their star imageReferring back to Chris Martin over time he has now be seen enough in his videos for us to know that he likes to take a leading role. With our video that would be apparent also. Even if the rest of the band could have been present for the shoot I am sure that they would of only featured in playing their instruments and nothing else. Fans are often attached to the lead singer, so the more they feature the better the sales. Hence Chris Martin, everyone knows who he is but I wouldn’t be able to name another one form Coldplay.

Reference to VoyeurismThere is no reference at all in our video as we do not feature any women, maybe you could argue that there is voyeurism as we do not have any females in our video shoot. That was simply because we didn’t think it would look as effective if we had a women chasing Kyle, you wouldn’t feel as anxious for Kyle to escape. That is voyeurism on a small scale.

KunK – ‘No way’

In our video there is a definite usage of the theory used by levi-strauss. With our video the whole point of it is us trying to betray good and bad. Bad being death and good being Kyle. He goes on about binary oppositions. That meaing conflict.
