Furthermore in another set as she sings " I am really gonna miss picking fights“ it shows them sitting and gesturing a small argument. Then she says " with some indie record much cooler then mine" this links with the visuals as it shows the guy trying to isolate him self with a record. So we are seeing very literal examples of the lyrics.

When she sings "you called me again last night” the link between lyrics and visuals are important as it helps tell the story much better, furthermore the visual link keeps the audience focused,

Link between music and visuals This song is very slow and very soft, as this video was shot only using one single shot the director shoots it in a very slow moving style narrative, which compliments the song . As this is a love and heart brake song. The director uses scenes that show love and romance. Such as this shot along with props and settings are used to connect to the style and genre.

Notion of voyeurism

Through out the song the artist looks directly at the camera and sings as if she is tell the story to the audience. This is an example of the notion of looking, directly at the camera. Its also on a Screen, so there is the concept of being watched. However the video don’t show people looking at the artist much. Also it does not Contain any objectification of woman as Taylor swifts is a teen pop artist and most her audience are girls age between 12-16, therefore the video does not contain any objectification.
