A human being faces seven big questions in the life. The challenges, a person meet due to the seven questions, if arenot resolved properly, the life will have lot of hesitation, complexity, misconception, confusion and indecision. Thelife of the human being does not move forward in the right direction. The seven questions are as follows.1. Understanding knowledge, karma (destiny and free-will), and dedication properly and behave accordingly, 2)

sketching the boundaries of the study 3. The decision to select the route credit, advancement, understanding of thebest or conscience or decision to live yoga-centric life 4. Understanding of our core-nature and decision of the work-eld accordingly 5. Working with commitment in the chosen area, without aspiration of any result and live happily6. To understand the ultimate truth and receiving sorrow, pain, happiness, peace, satisfaction between the journeyof the beginning and the end and 7. Even after taking the above decision on the basis of the intelligence, feeling nodifference between understanding and the livelihood in the life, means uniformity in understanding and livelihood.

I am trying to reply the above said questions practically, logically, tactfully, in a certied manner based on theexperience. I am condent that the learned readers of Yog-Sandesh will deliberate on the serious questions and tryto reach on the right solution and also cooperate others to move on the path of truthfulness with love, affection,

friendship, passion and gratitude.2. The meaning of knowledge is to know something. Means, properly identifying the images which we see through thebody, senses and intelligence and perception of the existence of the universe and its experiment. To understandthe three powers of the almighty nature, soul and the almighty. Our creation is proportionate to our knowledge.Shredhyey Guruji says as you see, as you exhibit, as you gain knowledge, as is the life, as is the vision, as is theuniverse.Such people are really great, who live in their own philosophy. We can achieve what we dream but the wish or the

interest should not detract from the philosophy. The wish is always and at every place, in accordance to our philosophy. Thus, the rst task to be carried is strong desire to get puried philosophy within. When we envision the entire existencein right spirit and when the conscience of life develops to live with co-existence and gratitude, there will be no sorrow inthe life. Our entire practical life is the result or the shadow of our philosophy, knowledge or vision.

Many Maharaj has beautifully said about knowledge, philosophy and the vision `Samyak darshan sampanna karmabhirne niddwayate.Darshenen vihinvastu sansar pratipadhyete. (Manu. 6/74)

A person with comprehensive knowledge, philosophy, vision do not fall in any trouble in the life and the person withnone of these qualities can not get rid of troubles. `Nahi Gyanen Sadrasha Pakimihvidhyate (Geeta) tathatrayate gyananna mukti`. Means, without philosophy or the knowledge, redemption is not possible in this life. Thus, be vigilant everymoment in the life and accept the knowledge, which we are getting due to the revered guru, good tracts, experience, nature and almighty, always respect it and imbibe till the depth of the heart and make all efforts to act accordingly.

Maharshi Dayanand had given prime importance to pure knowledge, pure `karma` and pure devotion.Besides knowledge, free-will (manhood) too has immense importance in the life. As the life is dark without knowledge,

there is nothing possible without free-will. On the issue, we are publishing a very important, innovative and inculcatorof the shredhyey Guruji in the same edition. It is my humble request to all the readers, who always follow the path ofspiritualism that they should read the editorial in the issue. Regarding commitment, derailed article will be carried infuture editions. I also consider dedication as more important compared to the knowledge and karma` as commitment lesslife is not a complete life. The life is incomplete without commitment towards the eligible guru, parents, in relationship, with arms, with god, with work, with service, commitment should always be there. There are ve phases of commitmentwhich would be presented in the future editions. But in brief the ve phases of the commitments are 1) pure behavioraccording to our centre of the commitment, 2) total obligation, 3) total free-willness,4) complete surrender or extremeof love or to live with the centre life common soul and 5) Not for even a single moment, thing of damage to the centre ofthe devotion. n

T oday, we are thinking that what is the role of thedestiny or free-will in the creation of the life? Wehave to accept the contribution of both the factors equally? Orwe could centre on one and ignore the other? Which is morepowerful between them? And what is the actual meaning ofboth the terms? If the destiny of someone is inauspicious andharmful, could it be changed? It appears that in the analysis ofthe questions, the reply of the basic needs of the life and themost severe problem of the life lies.

First-of-all we should establish what is the actual meaning

of the destiny and free-will. Whether the words are indicativeof any special meaning? Now where is the confusion inunderstanding the real meaning of words. In English xedfate and in Hindi `bhagya` are synonymous words to destiny.Likewise, for free-will we use efforts, labor, which give thesame meaning. In fact, this question of destiny and the free-will is associated to the karma of the life.

Whatever activities are being carried by the body, speech, mind and senses, which change the status of work andwhatever is the result as a consequence, is the `karma`. Theseactivities being carried by these causes may be spontaneous

or due to the impact of any external reason. Whatever activitycould be done or even avoided is called `purushkar` andwhatever activity has to be performed is called `sanskarjanyakarma`. Many activities of the human being fall in the rstgroup while that of animals in the second group.

Now wish is the principal `karma`. For wish, we needknowledge. This wish, due to the inuence of the old valuesare if guided by us I is called invisible or bhogbhut karma`andwhen it is guided by us but in encroached by the old `karma`,

it is called free-will karma. Thus, wish is the base of the karma.

The wish could turn into reality but itexists since ancient period like livingcreatures. Thus, it is worth rememberinghere that `bhog` has two meanings one is liberated wishes and the other isexperience of happiness and even sorrow.Any effort made inspired by the old valueis also karma but broadly, it is the effort

made by a human being. A man couldturn the natural result differently withhis efforts.

Thus, the study has made it clear thatkarmas are of two categories Valuesoriented and free-will oriented. Due toroutine, continuing activities under theinuence of old habits is called valuebased karma while any new besides oldactivity, when carried consciously iscalled free-will karma. Now good or bad

`karmas` could be the result of both theactivities.Even the activities being carried out

in dream are kept in the rst category i.e.value oriented karmas though the karmasperformed in conscious state are not likeperformed in faintness or those of animalsbut even if they are carried out by humanbeing but not with inner conscience they

    Destinyandfree-will

In the article, being carried in this edition, the enlightening message of Shredhyey Gu-rudev is being presented as a guest Editor sothat everybody makes effort with free-will. All

work with free-will to prove that the destinyof the life is created by them and they turnas a super-human, seer or even `devta` fromthe human being. The life sketches of YugPurush Pujya Swami Ramdevji Maharaj andPujya Acharya Balkrishna Ji Maharaj are thetrue depiction of the life with free-will. Thus, the people, moving in this direction will getstrength with the life of these great personali-ties and they could also have their share inthe agitation of the era.

are placed in value oriented karmas. Thus, preciously, it can be said that `whateverhappens naturally is value oriented karmabut what is being performed is free-will.

In the external world, a human beingperforms `karma` keeping one after theother objectives of the life like withthe karmas, my livelihood will continue, with the karma, I will be able to fulllthe physical aspirations of the belovedone, with such act, I would have a betterplace in the society. I want to establish asspecial ideal in the world. I want to servethe people. I have some object, education, eligibility and the capability and ifsomeone else need it, I am ready to share.

With karma, changes do occur in theexternal world but simultaneously, ideasdevelop in the mind or senses. Any karmais committed with some special feeling andthe same persists after the karma insidethe human soul. Unselshness or greed, charity or selshness, love or hatred, effort or laziness, peace or struggle, loveor cruelty, respect or insult, broadnessof the mind or the narrow mindedness, all these feelings become the character

of a human being due to the `karma`.Thu activities being created with love, compassion bring pureness in the humanbeing while greed, jealousy, arrogancebring impurity to the heart. Thus, karmadecides the nature of a human being.

Now value based karmas means, thekarmas which have been a part of thehuman behavior. The karmas, which aregiving results (It is also a result of thekarma, which is being repeated due to

the culture), the karmas which have beencompleted without any efforts and thekarmas, which have been accomplishedwithout any thought of benet or the loss,it is called culture based karma.

Due to the destiny, a person getsinsulted, incur loss and trouble others.Destiny does not mean that a person, without effort gets to somebody while

others do not get it. If the god has written some thing goodin the fate of somebody, it happens or as he has not writtenanything or he has written some thing badly, than accordinglydevelopments takes place. As we heard in this world, oh, hehas bad luck or this item was not in his fate or his luck is goodlike that.

Where pure activities, auspicious activities, religiousactivities, karmas based on the knowledge or the proceduresaccording to the sermons of knowledgeable persons , with co-existence or in the interest of the people and everybody allcause good destiny or knowledge based destiny while impureactivities, inauspicious karmas, non-religious activities, karmas performed in unconscious state or not being supportedby the sacred books or `acharyas` or karma with greed, fascination, arrogance, jealousy, one which is performed toinsult others and pose self superior or karma performed with

a thought of competence always results in dark destiny. In Sanskrit language, `dev` word has been used as

synonymous to destiny. Here the word dev means karmaand the group of repeated activities is called `Daiva`. Means, there is nothing `daiva` in the universe except the `karma`.Likewise, we also use word fate as a synonymous to destiny.`Bhaj Sewayam`, the meaning of fate is, which is beingconsumed means `bhajyatiti bhaga`. Karmas are also in a wayor other being consumed by a human being. And this`bhag` isdestiny. This word also indicates at the previous activities orthe karma of the person. The word xed fate also depicts old

karmas, whose destiny is pre-decided.We call the results of what we did in the past as fate,

destiny, god wish and other such nomenclatures means wesay destiny as the result of the karmas and also say destinyas the result of what we did. What a person receives by birthis the best-better or average intelligence, color appearance, voice, speech caliber, various interests, body, health, worldlypleasures- all we call as its fate. Whatever, he has done inthe past was its free-will and yesterdays free-will is todaysdestiny. And what we are doing today, is proportionate to thekarma performed in conscious state as the tomorrows free-

will in the best-medium or the lower category free-will. Thus, the destiny is not delinked to the free-will and the presentdestiny of the human being moves ahead with the free-will.

Now the question arises that when a person understandsthat his destiny is not good, can he amend it or would haveto continue moving in the same direction. Its reply is simple.Though the support of free-will always exists with the humanbeing but mostly he do not do any work suddenly but moveslowly with the momentum. Yes, if a person is not making

any effort to change the destiny or there is no use of externalforce on the destiny, then whatever destiny is with the humanbeing, he continues with it.

On principles, the change in destiny is not impossible. Itcould change but with the speech of the `guru`, hearing good

sermons or use of its thought power but rst, with the troublein the life, downfall, he should understand that my destiny isnot good for me or for others too. When this message is clear, the human nature is, sooner or later, is bound to change. Theopposite action is necessary for the point, which he wantsto change. Since destiny has been created due to free-will, itis bound to change with the use of free-will itself. Like, fora person who wants to change the fate of greediness, shouldhave strong bout of generousness.

Now the question is which is strong in the destiny or thefree-will and its reply says conceptually neither destiny nor

the free-will is strong. The time, when any one of them ispowerful, it is strong that time. Many times the writers singthe praise of fate, destiny etc like Na dishtambhyativrachantushakyam bhuten kenchit. Dishtamev dhuravam menyepaurasham tu nirarthakmja. (Vidu Ni 8/32). Means, nocreature could turn the fate and I consider the destiny asthe super powerful and the free-will is meaningless. Suchstatements are like blessings as its intention is to praise orinsult the element. Thus, such statements could be consideredthat the inner status of weaker and foolish persons is like, asstated in the couplet. The self-enlightened and brave persons

speak contrary to it as after Lord Rama defeated Ravana, Sitasaid `Devena tu yata sampraptam paurushena tyapakritam`.Means Oh Sita, whatever troubles, and inauspiciousness I gotin the life due to the destiny, I have fought it with the free-will. One poet has, while praising free-will, said ` udhyoginahpuruhsinhammupeti laptatmi, deva devmiti hi kapurushavadanti. Deveh nihatya kuru paurashamatmahaktya yatnekrite yadi na iddyati kohtra dosha`. In Vidur Niti 2/81-82 and3/41, an important description of `Daiva` and free-will hasbeen given Tasmedeva prayaschanti purushaya parabhavam, buddhi tasyapakarshanti sovachinani pashyati`. Means the

god (karma) took away the wisdom of a human being, forwhom, they have scripted defeat. The person, without wisdomstoops towards bad habits and is inclined to them.

`Baudho kalushbhutaya vinashe pratyupasthite, anayonayasankasho hirdayannasavasarpati.`

If the wisdom is spoiled due to its activities, and ruining isimminent, than immorality also appears to be morale and it isbeing practiced.

    `Na deva dandamayada rakshanti pashupalvata,

    yanto rakshitmicchanti buddhyasamvibhajanti tama`.

The god does not protect any humanbeing, keeping a baton in hand but heequips anybody he wants to save, with

wisdom. Its meaning is that when it is the

opportunity to enjoy good life, based onwhat karma, he had done in the past, thewisdom is normal while when the adversetime comes, the wisdom too walks away.

But all these facts are being said incontext of the common man. The people, who are special and having synonymyin the assets and troubles, their wisdomdo not change on the experience of

happiness or the sorrow. Such rarepersons ght with the destiny and theyawake their free-will and defeat the oldkarmas result, with the help of new ones.

The `veda` hymns too describe anddecorate courage, valor and mightrepeatedly.

In fact, the super-powerful god has, without any bias or partial attitude, sent all human being with the sameprobability of innite knowledge, power

and caliber. Every human being hasthe capability of being super-humanbeing, being a seer or being a `devta`. Ifwe save ourselves with the vulnerableactivities and perform activities with fullcapability, we could grow in every eldof the life.`Charan ve madhu vidanti charanaswadumudumbaram. Suryasyapashya shremanam yon a tandrayatecharan. Chairavati, Chairavati. (5).

Therefore, it is said that a person whowalks enjoy honey, who walks taste goodfruits. Just see the labor of the sun, whichdoes not get tired, taking the round ofthe earth. Thus, move on, move one.

Oh God, your heavenly sparkle ispresent in my soul, which I feel too. Please, bless me so that this sparkle couldturn into a big massive re. n

the medicine is, which gives relief in the trouble.Since, the body is directly connected to the nature

and hence, diseases arise due to the imbalance of the nature-personrelationship. Thus, the medicines should also be with natural contents.Besides, if you use chemical elements on the body in the name of medicine,if not today tomorrow, it is going to show its adverse impact.

For ever-lasting remedy, it is necessary that in any of the diseases mentalor physical, you find medicines amidst nature. To end the atrocity on thebody, which is a temple of god, Patanjali ayurveda has after deep research, depending on the nature of the diseases, invented various medicines. Onthe basis of the conclusions, we drew; we have started a series of `Health in

This power is also called asauto-immune power of self-monitoring system, self- treatment system,self-healing system and self-repairing system.

T he health of the human being depends on the health of thissystem, though a doctor is sitting within every living being, which relentlessly efforts to provide good health to the body. The musclecell of the brain and spinal chord do not get repaired, if are damaged once,

which ultimately affects the sensitivity and the activity of a human being. But it is also seen that when the long tuber cell, which carries musclecells sensitivity from one end to other, damages or is cut, it revives. It hasa self-generation process. When the damaged muscle cells are at the endof the nerve, the macrophages eat-up the damaged portion and also helpin the re-construction of a new column. They also release a chemical, which fastens the process of the re-constitution of cells. And hence thesensitivity and movement develops in the damaged portion.

Likewise, the nerve damage due to sudden and fast impact and the

minute vessels of blood getsruptured. In such condition theimmune system of the bodygets activate and inspire theinjured tissue cells to release aspecial type of chemical. Lakhsof security cell belonging toauto-immune system, which arecalled as granulocytes antibodies, immediately rush to the disturbedregion and counter the attackof the viruses. A special type ofchemical emerges out, whichdeposits and increases the bloodow.

This is called asblood clotting or hematoma. To repair the broken bone, thenatural atoms form a cartilagebridge, close to the broken boneturn in soft bones in one-and-a-half month. production of the miraculous medicinal chemical interferon, whichstrengthens the body to take on the viruses.

Another surprising incident happens during fever which is reducediron elements. Due to lack of iron elements in the body, the virusesthemselves start perishing. For the survival and strength to the viruses, iron element and oxygen are needed. Not only this, even the white bloodcells and anti-bodies too reach in the troubled area with huge force andattack the viruses and drive it away.

Even in cancer, muscular dystrophy, thalassemia and other non-curable and life-threatening diseases, the doctor within activates and tryto give relief to the victim. It also treats the basic minute structure jean, which is the base of the life since in the chromosomes, all jean are tiedlike beads in the garlands. At the centre of every body part cells, DNAexists which carries the genetic qualities. Due to free radical, pollution,DNA gets distorted. In such condition due to incomparable process

master control system, this genetic disturbance is treated automatically.Whenever any deformity is found in DNA, the searching team locatesrepairs and makes it healthy.

Common coldTake example of common cold. It is the best example of the

unmatched autoimmune healing repairing system and inammatoryresponse. The common cold itself counters the viruses attack. When dust, nectar, allergic and other viruses enter the body through the nostrils, the mucus diaphragm, present in the nose and neck arouse and release

thick-layered mucus, which traps the foreign material. Thus, lungs aresaved from being contaminated. Rhinovirus, Rhinoviruses are the mostcommon viral infective agents in humans and are the predominant causeof the common cold, which is ve lakh part of half an inch length, ifmanages to enter the body through the nose, the body increases theproduction of interferon, which ultimately damage the common coldviruses. To kill the rest of the viruses, if saved from interferon, mucusmembrane in nose develops viscous element, which spread the minuteblood vessels and hence the blood circulation in the nose increases. Thecontracted area gets warm and red. The nose appears to be chockedwith inammation. Due to cough and sneeze, muscles get aroused and

the mind orders for sneeze and cough, at the speed over 100 miles perhour so that the viruses are thrown away. But still some of the stubbornviruses of cold continue in the body and the immune system of the bodytake different actions to drive them out.

Thus, the seers and Vedas have always preached to get associated withthe nature. If a human being does it, he could counter the most seriousdiseases as the doctor, in conscience is comfortable in such condition andactivates at the slightest provocation. n

This makes blood deposition andit exists till the damaged cells donot complete re-construction, re-constitution and healing processof the vessel.

son of Arjuna and Subhadra, Abhimanyu, the great warrior knew from the motherswomb, how to struggle in `chakravyew` and defeatthe enemies. Actually, when he was fetus, Arjuna wastelling Subhadra, how to plan in battle-field during`chakravyew`. Subhadra was awakening till, Arjunainformed about the sixth entrance but before, he couldtell of the seventh entrance, she slept. Hence, Abhimanyucould not know, how to strategize the defeat at the 7thdoor. Thus, he was killed in the battle-field on the 13thday, while fighting `kauravas` in the chakravyew. The modern Chanakya of the country, Pujya SwamiRamdevji Maharaj has planned to prepare thousandsof such Abhimanyus and in fact, he has set the projectrolling so that the mistake of Subhadra is not repeated. In this context, his plan is such that the consciousnessof the mother would be linked to the sensibility of themother and even the alertness of the mother wouldbe heightened so that there would be no chance of

any mistake, as committed with Abhimanyu. SuchAbhimanyus will be called `Divya manav` in the `DivyaBharat` building, as being dreamt by Pujya Swamiji.

S wami Ramdevji Maharaj, after installing anationalistic Government at the centre, is headingto bring change in the very basics of the country, whichis the root of all problems. Humans without compassion,

involved in corrupt practices, malpractices, vices andillegal activities can not support building a strong nation.Hence, Swamiji has decided to socialize human being, when in the womb.Swamiji said that from the womb of the mother till 25 yearsof age, the parents will be cultured, the birth of the child, education, `divya` diet, `divya` ideas, `divya` routine and`divya` culture will be a part in Patanjali Yogpeeth, so that

the creation of `divya` human being is possible. Now, the procedure, which I have understand is the processof `divya` human being will pass through four phases.First, the selection of the couple, second, comprehensiveatmosphere for the pregnant mother and yet to born baby, third the comprehensive socialization of the parents anddevelopment of the child till he turns 8 years old, and thefourth phase includes a complete knowledge from 8 yearsto 25 years, living as a celibate acquiring knowledge of

most important.According to Dayanand Saraswati `It is proper for theparents that before, at the time and after pregnancy, they should avoid intoxicants drugs and other suchwisdom destroying items and live peacefully, healthy, with power, intelligence and culture. They should takemilk, `ghee`, sweets and other such items. The coupleshould follow the principles mentioned in `Charak` and`Shushrut sanhita` regarding the meals in pregnancy. They should also follow the preaching of `Manu Smriti`regarding the happiness of the husband and the wife. The pregnant woman should take items with quality ofbeauty, intelligence and health till end of the pregnancy. After the birth, the parents should impart the besteducation to the children so that the child develops

civilized. The child should mostly accompany themother up to 5 years , father up to 8 years and thereaftershould be sent to some `acharya` for higher educationafter `upnayan` culture. When he turns young, he should concentrate on thesubject, accompany the subject-knowing people andalways learn about the subject and he shall avoidisolation, sighting of woman and other such activitiesand the celibate should always concentrate on studies. If the youth could not get proper education and semensafeguarding, they would be weak, without wisdom

and deprived of enthusiasm, courage, tolerance andpower. The child should accept the truth and religiouslypreached `karmas` and avoid evil `karmas`.

In the Vedic education system, thepractice of `culture creation` inwomb was followedIn the Vedic religion, 16 cultures of the human being havebeen described, which detailed from the pregnancy to

death. Carrying pregnancy is the rst culture. The bodilymeeting of a male and female is called insemination-culture. The creature enters the mothers womb withthe combination of menstrual uid of female and semenof the male, rst-of-all. It is belief in Hindu religion thatthe fetus has affect of the meal of the parents and also oftheir mentality. The parents who consume intoxicants, take non-vegetarian food and follow impure conducts, their semen and menstrual uid are polluted and

vedic and modern education. A human being, which passesall the four phases successfully, will be `divya` humanbeing, who will ll the entire humanity with kindness andcompassion.

Swami Dayanand Saraswati had dreamt ofcreating `divya` human being

Swami Ramdev has been a follower of Arya Samaj sincebeginning and he knew that the founder of Arya Samaj,Swami Dayanand Saraswati had, in his book `SatyarthPrakash` narrated the outline of the upbringing of ahuman being from the womb to the education. Accordingto Swami Dayanand Saraswati, it is clearly mentionedin `Shatpath Brahmin` that father, mother and the gurumake human being a knowledgeable creature but from thewomb to the complete education, the role of the mother is

hence with it, germinate polluted seed. Thus, with goodconduct, attitude, behavior, environment, `mantra`power, the sentiments of the fetus in womb could bechanged and divine power could be inculcated. Afterinsemination, comes `punsvan` culture `, which is doneafter three months of insemination. According to theVedic `shastras`, till 4 months, there is no difference inmale or female fetus and hence, it should be performedbefore the conclusion of three months. The `punsvan`culture makes the fetus, strong, healthy and powerful. The third `sanskar` is `Simantonnayan` , the objectiveof which is to provide mental or psychological strengthto the mother to equip her with positive thoughts. Withthe development of the child, a mother develops newideas and wishes and in the psychological developmentof the fetus, this plays a crucial role. In the period, thefetus listen, understands everything in the womb andis participative in every good or bad of the mother.Hence, it is good to conduct the ritual between 6th to8th month.

In this period, Abhimanyu had learnt the lesson of howto destroy `chakravyaw` in the battle, when the fetuswas in the womb. Likewise, Bhakta Prahlad received thesermons, which Devarshi Narad gave to Mata Kayadhu, the mother of Prahlad, when he was still in the womb.In the same period, the son of Vyas, Shukdev receivedknowledge in the womb.. According to Hindu religionbelief, these three cultures should be performed to geta better child.

Till 25 years from the womb, the angelichuman being as dreamt by Swamiji willbe mould.Swamiji Maharaj will perform in the light of Vedic cultureand Satyarth Prakash to prepare divine human being fromthe fetus to his young age. According to Baba RamdevjiMaharaj, the heart of the mother would be made purewith meditation-yoga, healthy, swadeshi food without anycontamination will be provided in a pious atmosphere. After insemination, the parents will stay in the ashram. After the birth of the child, the father will have to depart, although, he will be allowed to visit occasionally. Till 8

years, the mother will accompany the child but she willalso depart after that. Then, the child will be educatedfor 25 years. There will be no provision of co-educationbut boys and girls will be provided separate education.Besides Vedic education, the child will be providedmodern education as well and hence, a candidate willhave equal command on Sanskrit, his/ her mother tongue

and English as well.According to Pujya Swami Ramdevji Maharaj, for 25years, these souls without any inauspiciousness, incomplete pious atmosphere, will be created as all-competent and all-aware souls which will for sure bringa massive change on the earth. It will also establishauspiciousness, religion, truth, divinity and justice inthe person and the system. The rule of the god will existeverywhere, he added. n

I got an opportunity to meet Balkrishna ji when one of my close friend, associated tothe Patanjali institutions proposed that come, let us go to meet Acharya Balkrishna. We both went there and met Acharya ji. I presented one of my books to him and whiletalking to us, he kept turning the pages of the book too. After sometime, he told methat he has read the entire book and I may ask any portion from any of the page. I wassurprised as he repeated verbatim the exact writing of the book.

I went through many books, written by Acharyashri and `Ayurveda Jadi-ButiRahasya` written in three volumes is a miracle. I have never seen such descriptivebook on Ayurveda plants in my entire life. The book carries medicinal and scienticdescription of over 550 herbal plants and trees in details. According to my knowledge,

the inventor of Ayurveda and our Vedic seers Maharshi Charak, Shshrut andDhanvantari had searched and located around 600-800 plants and herbals. Now,Acharya Ji is carrying forward the same legacy. After the book `Ayurveda Jadi-ButiRahasya`, he is busy in writing the `encyclopedia on world pharmacological herbalmedicines and plants` in which every medicinal plant, available in any part of theworld would be presented with ayurveda and modern-scientic point of view. He isalso working on `world pharmacological code`. Under his guidance, over 41researchpapers in yoga and ayurveda have been published in different Indian and Internationaljournals and magazines.

What is more surprising is his creation `Aushadh Darshan`. In the world, thepublishers and writers put a tag of `best selling book`, which is being sold 25-30,000

copies and here over 1 crore copies of `Aushadh Darshan` have been released withoutany fuss. This work, in the favor of Ayurveda merits to be included in Gunnies booksof world record.

Score of Swadeshi agitation were launched, besides setting-up of Swadeshiawareness groups but none of them could sustain and here, this pair has doled out`Patanjali products` as an alternative to swadeshi and brought the idea to the realground reality.

Acharya Balkrishna ji Maharaj says `I am only trying to realize the dreams andoaths taken by Pujya Ramdev ji`. Pujya Swamiji says, whatever is envisioned here,

is all experimented byAcharyashri. In fact onlythat society remains active, where ideas and dreams turnto reality. Both the respectedgures, have invented sucha formula, which is giving

yoga- ayurveda-swadshi, oncea nearly forgotten knowledge,a solid ground in the modernsociety. Both of them wouldbe remembered for inniteperiod for the contribution, they have made to the society. The world is indebted tothem. n

happiness of the village means happiness of the individual family. The

village people could perform small experiments for the purpose.Revive `shramdan` tradition The real identity of the villages

is the hard laboring people and they should also spare some timefor the collective labor as collective efforts could ensure such tasks, which are not possible with the limited Government funds. With thecollective `shramdan` the village-people could prepare a garden inwhich vegetables, fruits could be grown. Such effort would providevegetables and fruits to the people whole years and also residents willavoid migrating to urban areas.

Culture schools for the childrenThough, Government and private primary schools are being run inalmost every village. Children do attend the schools in the village or the

nearby villages but their growth is not satisfactory. The villages facethe consequences of the large-scale migration of the children to urbanareas. In this run of academic growth, they are not taught that thisentire village is yours. They are made to compete for growth and whenthey fail to achieve the target, it generates jealousness. Now a newsystem needs to be set-up in the villages with the collective intelligenceof the village man, little contribution and physical labor.

An atmosphere should be generated in the villages so that the retiredor eligible teachers and qualied people, after sparing extra time from

their routine, work as teacher who besides enhancing the educationalcaliber of the students also inculcates cultural values in them. To workfor charity, large heartedness, intelligence and the physical labor, anyperson in the country with such morale values is needed. If we coulddevelop such people in large numbers, means half the target of thenation being the world leader is considered to be achieved.

System to repair daily useful itemsWhen human clusters live at some place or the other, they also need

O nce a saint had, in view ofthe migrating youth villagepopulation to the urban areas, said the fate of Bharat will change, onlywhen the villages will emerge as townsand the obesity of the urban areaswill decrease. In such condition thepathetic health condition of the ruralareas will improve, strengthening thespinal chord of the country. Besides, the confused urban life will have asteady direction. Of course, the pointraised by him is important but themore important is how it is going tohappen?

    The Government too wishes

the same and allocates fund to thePanchayatys and other Governmentcommittees but the healthy money, while trickling down to the villagesbecomes unhealthy. I am not talking ofthe tout, the problem which everybodyknow exists but even the misuse of thefund has been limitless to the extendthat the money released for digginga pond becomes un-sufcient to digeven a pit at the end. But it does not

mean that only the Government isresponsible for the pitiful situation. When the people in the village willnot make efforts and insist to performthe work for which the fund has beenreleased, the prevailing situation isbut natural. It is todays need thatthe village men participate in theactivities for the improvement of thevillage, taking it as their heritage, rubbing shoulders with the panchayat

members and ensuring the better useof the fund. The village men shouldconsider villages work as theirpersonal work and make a point thatthe fund released for the welfare ofthe village is neatly spent for the samepurpose. They also consider as howthe village could be beautiful, healthy,self-dependent, clean and happy. The

many items of daily need like vegetables and other daily-use items. Thevillage men also need repairing of items, which are associated to thedaily need. Now one person in the village could invest a little amountand open a general store, without intending to earn much prot so that

he could himself get employment and the people in the village wouldnot have to rush to other places. Though, people do take such stepsbut with the motive to earn money. To earn more money, they usewrong tactics like adulteration of goods, selling outdated and old itemsor cheating people in one way or the other and as a result, they spoiltheir own business.

Keep only daily use items at homeKeep excessive cash or jewelry not at home and in the bank and at

home, keep only the items, which are used in daily routine. This wouldhelp shedding the habit of storing unnecessary items at home and no

situation of loss due to theft or mismanagement would occur. It is seenthat with excessive collection of items at home, it generates foul smelland many time, such items spill to the alley. If water drainage system isnot proper, you will have putridity and the healthy atmosphere of thevillage would spoil. In such situation, the use and management of thestored items should not be another need and hence store only neededitem at home.

Cooperative between farmersFor the farmers getting right value of their produce, cooperative is

the best option. Their products could be linked to the right markets

and for their maintenance and processing some collective system couldbe evolved. Animal husbandry and agriculture are though, old culturesbut still could be a good source of income and an entire family couldsurvive on it.

The joint cooperative use of the fund could help opening manyindustries in the village, which could help people getting livelihoodbesides the village would set example for others. The need is to provideproper guidance to the villages and put them on the right track.

    Adult education, anecessary step

Most of the people in the villageswaste their valuable and precioustime in laziness, gossiping and otheruseless activities. If such work forceis made vigilant, utilizing their time inthe self-sufciency, they could makeothers aware too. Such programswill not only help people gettingformal education but could also beapprised of the postal departmentactivities, tehsil, banks, agriculturecentres, Police, courts and manyother departments and elds so thatthey could get basic information andcould dispose of their responsibilitieswithout being deprived of the genuinerights.

Greenery protection on thepublic roads and places

In the villages, less alertness andawareness regarding the public roadsand places is being witnessed. Theyspoil road-sides and dig soil, adjoiningthe road for their personal works, which worsen road condition. Inpettier act, they shorten the commonfarm limits, thus getting more area. The village men could be apprisedthat such mentality causes harm moreas compared to the prot. The peopleshould be inspired to plant sapling inthe allies of the village and put seed-plots. It gives relief to the villagersand also the visiting people wouldhave respect for them. Such villagesare being praised and earn respect.

    Revival of the culturaltradition

Villages are the epi-centre ofthe cultural traditions and values, which have received such traditionin heritage. Though, villages have

in the community centre itself. But it should have the village-levelatmosphere or else the village persons could be scared of even enteringin it. The primary health centre could run with the meager contributionof each village family. Everybody should contribute something for theservice health centre but should not intend to capture on it. Everybodyshould take the advantage of the service equally. Such activity wouldhelp people getting health service besides the generation of the senseof admiration and compassion.

Village-level dispensary concept is a part of the ancient periodactivities where besides modern medicines, arrangement of theayurveda herbals should also be made. Further more, if the villagersplant saplings of herbals, it could be supplied afresh and the work ofthe health conservation would go unabated. Some person from thevillage could be sent to Patanjali Yogpeeth to get training. He could alsotake lessons on the primary treatment from some reputed `vaidhya`of the region. The village men could enlighten themselves with the

encyclopedia, the rst magnicent book on ayurveda so that they couldidentify the benecial herbals, growing in the vicinity. If they couldutilize it for the welfare of the people, an excellent system could be runin the village so that everybody gets health benets.

Such experiment could reduce migration of the village talent aseverything, which the people search in the urban areas is availableat local level. But again, the million-dollar question is how it wouldhappen?

I am talking to the rened talents of the well-off families, whoseaverage living standard is good. If they decide to turn to the welfare ofthe village, make public contacts and even nourish new constructive

activities, not only the village atmosphere would improve but newsources of the production and the employment would generate. Today, there is no need to abandon villages but treating the entire village asown family is the need of the hour, relieving oneself from the selshness.

Such talents are needed in the entire country that could managesmall experiments and spend their life for the sake of the people. Suchtalents could chalk out strategy for cooperatives, education, health inthe village and a group of people could work to implement it. Thus,

young talent would get opportunity to get associated with new styleof life, which will live with enthusiasm and self-respect. They wouldnot waste their time in resting in the name of the job, the villages

would not be rendered orphan and the back-bone of the nation wouldstrengthen.Such talents would get the status of tomorrows future, which would

be trusted by the society. Tomorrow, the society could hand over itsleadership to such people and the time is giving such indications. Over7 lakh villages of the country, which are regularly abandoned by theresidents, are looking forward with ray of hope. Come; let us initiatesteps to make it as an inspirational centre. It is the demand of the timeand ignoring it could be detrimental for the entire humanity. n

It is the time torevive such activities but this is againa collective responsibility with theintention that conservation of theold heritage conserves the village.Likewise, collective `pranayam`should be held daily, which wouldbetter the health besides bettering themental level need for better thoughts. It would also improve the habit ofcollectiveness. For such activities, the

The serene food pure the heart of the practitioner and with pure mind, a person travelsa general life journey. Yoga is a step ahead of it. According to a belief, fruits and other costly items have deep relationship

By this calculation, a workerneeds just 5 days to work in 10 villages. If he isemployed, he could take leave of ve days orutilize four Sundays and holiday for the purpose.

Yogeshwarhimself says I am Shankar in 11 rudras`and `Kuber` in yakahsa`. In eight `vasus`I am re and in high ranges, I am `Meru`range.

There are `rudras` - From historicpoint of view, there are 11 rudras Hara, Bahurup, Triyambakam, Aprajit,Vrishakapi, Shambhu Shankar or Shiva,Kapardi, Raivat, Mrigavyadh, Sharvaand Kapali. All were `Rudravanshi`and among them `Shankar` had themaximum qualities, warrior and welfare-oriented.

In Vedic`karmakand`, `hai` in yagna, means`ahuti` in re is the most importantwork, while in Bhakri marg, theremembrance of Omkar is important andhence, to put japa yagna at the top, thesewords have been told. Manu has also toldat a place Brahmin could do somethingof not but could achieve `siddhi` only byremembering the god with knowledgeand devotion. Here, the meaning ofBrahman means, anyone with pure andserene heart.

Likewise, when Yogeshwarmentioned the trees-vegetables, he saidthat I am `ashvatha` means `peepal`among the trees and Narada in thedeities. (Every portion of `peepal` treeis useful for medicinal purpose andhence it is considered as the best treevariety). In Gandhravas, I am Chitrarath(Chitrarath was the king of Gandhravas)and among the knowledgeable persons, Iam Kapil seer.

The universe is the disciplined system of the god. Till, the people, the societyand the nation live under the shadow of the almighty, Gita continues to ow. As

the discipline is breached, the ow will be disrupted. When Gita screams, whoever understands and experiences it, is the creator ofthe era, revolutionary person, super human or Yogeshwar. In the era of intense darkness, the one who is competent of imbibing theever-owing eternal voice of the all-time powerful god Is one, who is the most disciplined creator human being. In Mahabharat era,Yogeshwar Sri Krishna, in the independence era, Lokmanya Tilak and Gandhi were the front-line leader, who imbibed the inspirationof Gita in the context of their period and hence played a vital role in the new creation. Thus, Srimadbhagwadgita has been a tract of theera since centuries. Its commitment is like the formula of Patanjali, ever-lasting the inspiration of the disposal of the religious duties`.The same voice of Gita is being imbibed by Yugarishi Param Pujya Swami Ramdeji Maharaj and performing his duties, which is beingpresented here. males and females, pulse testing gives clearindication of the problem. The three ngers of the hand index nger, middle nger and ring nger are importantin the testing of pulse. All the three ngersare kept on the pulse. The index nger iskept at the bottom of the thumb. On thepulse, pressure is mounted with the ends
