HistoryMrs Finney wants to launch a new History project calledMy Home is My Museum. There is information on our class page about how to take part because remember what we are living through right now will one day be part of history!

How amazing would it be if I could share your museum projects with future year 3 children at St Peter’s?

I could even get you in to interview you! Please email your photos or work to our school email address.

ArtStick some paper to a wall and try to create your own Stone Age cave painting. Try to get texture behind your painting just like they would have had in the caves. Imagine you have just been hunting and gathering for food, what kind of scary story might you be able to paint or draw from your experiences of hunting?

Science.Light and Shadows Choose any 10 items and put them into a box. Hide them under a towel or blanket and get a member of your family to see if they can work out what the item is just by feeling it. Remember the box will be dark. Did your family member find it hard or easy? Which items were easier to identify (to work out)? Teach your family member that darkness is the absence of light (that means that to have darkness there must be NO light)

REWe are now in the season of Easter.Watch the story about Jesus appearing to his disciples on the Road to Emmaus. This story is taking place after Jesus has rose on Easter Sunday. See if you can spot some similarities (some things that are the same) between what happens when the disciples are eating together here in this story with another bible story. Have we seen Jesus do these actions before?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dmmTWQn95xQ

PSHERelationships. Can you draw all of the different members of your family?

Draw them doing their favourite thing to do.

Now draw them doing their least favourite thing to do, it might be cleaning the car or washing the dishes.

Think for a moment about whether you could help the members of your family to do some of the jobs they don’t like doing, make sure it is something safe for you to do. If you are helping them then think how quickly the job will be done.

PEPlease watch Joe Wickes live on Youtube every morning at 9am, he will get you out of bed and ready to MOVE!

MusicMr B has been in touch to say that he has logged onto Charanga and he is sad to see that not many children are logging on to play with this great programme. SO… we have a sneaky mission to be the most active class on there to really make him feel happy and make me and Miss Johnson feel super proud of you. Can you do that for us?

SpellingThese are your 5 spellings for the week taken from the Year 3 and 4 spelling list. We have given you 5 because they are tricky words. Practise them every day and pretend to be Miss Johnson on Friday by giving yourself a test, best writing though because you all know what she would expect
