Multiplication Facts to 12BY: ABIGAIL BUSH

Analyze the Learner The grade level I plan to teach is 3nd graders, between the ages of 8 and 9. I plan to incorporate different types of media and material to help students with both visual and auditory learning styles, so all the students can understand the material being taught.

Main ObjectiveThis class of 3nd graders will understand and know their multiplication facts up to 12, through multiplication table charts, multiplication games, multiplication songs, and creating their own multiplication flip books by the end of the week with 95% accuracy.

Lesson Breakdown Day 1: Learning how to multiply by 0, 1, 2, and 3 Day 2: Learning to multiply by 4, 5, and 6Day 3: Learning to multiply by 7, 8, and 9Day 4: Learning how to multiply by 10, 11, and 12 Day 5: Create their own multiplication flip books and multiplication table chart.

Technology For this lesson I will incorporate multiplication games that I have found online that the students can do in class, as well as at home for more practice. I will use different YouTube song videos each day for the audio and visual learners. I will have them use the computers to make their own multiplication table chart.I will also use the smart board to show step by step how to multiply problems for those who are visual learners.
