• Goods- Scrubbles Soap uses organic plant oils, essential oils, water, and other natural ingredients to make our soap products safe for anyone to use.

• Services- Here at Scrubbles Soap we provide the service of making and selling soap products to business and homes.

• Ideas/Info- We provide information about our company through T.V. ads, magazine ads, and our website.

• Purchasing- Scrubbles Soap purchases office supplies to keep records, computers, ingredients for our soap products, energy to keep the machines up and running, machines.

• Recruiting- We put our potential employees through a rigorous process to make sure they are right for the company. We use job fairs, the Internet, newspapers, and word of mouth to attract employees.

• Pricing- Scrubbles Soap prices our products higher than our competitors only because of the high quality that we promise our customers.

• Place- We have stores all around the country, near the local malls or plazas in your town. We will deliver orders from the website or come to the store to shop and buy for yourself.

• Consumers/Customers- Here at Scrubbles Soap, we make sure our consumers/customers stay interested in our company by coming up with new products

• Competition- We price our soap products higher than our competition because of the proven better quality. Scrubbles Soap does have monthly sales where we lower prices to below the competition to get rid of stock.

• Economy- As the prices of some of our ingredients increase, Scrubbles Soap has raised the price of our soap products slightly to adjust to the economy.

• Government- As a business, we have to pay taxes to the government and in response we’ve had to find ways to decrease the taxes by using green methods of production, which gives tax credits

• Technology- Here at Scrubbles Soap, we pride ourselves on being on the ball concerning technology. We have the latest products and change them as interest decreases.

Resource Development

• Motivation- At Scrubbles Soap, we give our employees high benefits which includes full health care. We also give our employees half-days on Fridays. This motivates the employees to work hard for company they actually enjoy working at.

• Training- At Scrubbles Soap, we put our prospects through a month long training session where they learn how to work each and every part of the company as well as the employees who have worked here for years.

• Standards/Evaluation- We set high standards for our products to meet and we evaluate as they come off the production line. We also have high standards for the employees to meet and evaluate them every two months to see if they need brushing up on their skills

Management

• Planning- We have monthly planning meetings where we see how the past month went, set goals and set the procedures to accomplish them

• Organizing- We organize a system of authority and who each worker reports to. Scrubbles Soap also sets up a mentoring system where new and older workers are matched up and they get together to talk about problems one might be having

• Directing- Scrubbles Soap set up work schedules to make sure the right people are working on a goal. Scrubbles Soap has a democratic leadership where the management and employees work together and come up with solutions to company problems.

• Controlling- Productivity at Scrubbles Soap consists of handbooks for the employees so they know what is expected of them by working on their projects. Marketing in Scrubbles Soap has its own team working on advertising, analysis of sales, and research of the market.
