A LETTER FROM OUR FOUNDER

Nelson Mandela famously said "It always seems impossible, until it's done". Recently

I have been reflecting on the last four years with the EFLI and remember a time not

too long ago when the concept of introducing "American Football" to India was

considered to be impossible in itself. Yet today we are no longer simply a concept.

It's not difficult to imagine that bringing a new sport to one of the world's largest

emerging markets and oldest cultures was no easy task. However, we proved that

through persistence, hard work and dedication, the challenges that once seemed

overwhelming were in the end, far from impossible. We built an agile company that

in a short period of time has been able to maneuver itself into a key position on a

very powerful stage. We've established relationships with the country's largest

media outlets, sponsors and personalities. We've, built a unique and scalable

model that enables the EFLI to easily expand and meet the entertainment needs

of what's soon to be world's largest middle class. Furthermore, we've built a

company that has already captured the hearts of its countries people.

The EFLI is quickly becoming much more than a game for the people of India.

It is part of a movement whose success proves that the people are

demanding to be engaged and entertained in brand new ways.

As we look forward to Season Two, we know that there is still much work to be

done. One of our key objectives at this stage is to continue to develop new

partnerships in an effort to maintain our current momentum and expansion goals.

Page 36: EFLI +EFLIU +UBA

The EFLI started with just an ideain early 2010.

Would it be possible to start a football league in a country that had never been introducedto the sport? The founders believed so. The initial investors believed sobut with so many hurdles to overcome, the vision seemed almost unattainable. The nay-sayers had many doubts and often posed questions such as:

1) Are there indian athletes who are big enough, strong enough, quickenough and fast enough to play this explosive sport?

2) Would the Indian public be receptive to the game of football sinceCricket is their religion?

3) How could the EFLI protect its interest from the NFL once all theground work is laid?

4) Would the Indian government be receptive to an American entity bringing a new sports league into their country?

5) What television network would broadcast an unfamiliar sports program to a seemingly unwavering audience?

6) Would the EFLI be able to secure facilities to play?

All these questions were answered and proven with greatsuccess and the results stunned even veteran NFL coaches asplayers such as Mike Ditka, Ron Jaworsky, Michael Irvine,Brandon Chillar and Doug Plank.

Page 37: EFLI +EFLIU +UBA

Today, the EFLI has attracted the biggest, strongest, quickest and fastest Indian athletes to participate in thisfirst ever Indian Football league. The EFLI has also at-tracted NFL Allstars such as Kurt Warner as owners andadvisers. Hollywood has also taken notice with the addi-tion of Mark Wahlberg as an owner.

In the summer of 2012 the first EFLI season was played, filmed and aired on the largest Sports Network in SouthEast Asia with Emmy Award winning football directorSandy Grossman at the helm. The EFLI fight song waswritten by 3-time Grammy winner Adonis.

The media has taken notice both in India andin the US through news outlets such as TimeMagazine and The New York Times.

Planning for the next season in now underway and will be bigger and more successful as the learning curve hasbeen sharply refined.

As awareness of the sport grows we are gaining interestand attention from athletes around the country. Profes-sional Rugby, Kabaddi and even ultra-successful IPL play-ers have expressed their desire to blaze a new path withthe EFLI.

The EFLI is extremely proud of the accomplishmentsmade since beginning our journey. The burgeoning In-dian economy continues to strengthen, allowing evenmore exposure and wider acceptance for a now, officiallysanctioned sport.

The efli also looks forward to bringing more footballs tothe children of India who have never seen, held, orthrown one.

An extensive grass roots marketing campaign has gottenthe league to where it is today. The following pages con-tain a timeline narrative illustrating the EFLI journey.

Page 38: EFLI +EFLIU +UBA

Player SelectionNo one thought is was possible to hold American-style football training programs in India. As of April,2011, it had never been accomplished.

The EFLI scouted the entire country ofIndia to find the strongest. fastest andthe quickest athletes out of a populationof 1.2 billion people for the athletes whoattended its official footballorientations.

As of November 1, 2011, there have been ThirteenEFLI Coaches Orientations in ten cities in India andtwo cities in Sir Lanka, resulting in over 10,000 candi-dates in attendance all vying for positions to play orcoach.

The EFLI was not surprised to find endless athletes, many of whom have played professional cricket, rugby and soccer. Their drive, discipline and motiva-tion were overwhelming as these athletes showedmajor potential in the game of Football.

The EFLI has a proven recipe for success to gain qual-ified athletes and build professional teams through afour step process that includes: canvasing majorcities and and rural areas, classroom euducation andtesting, training seminars and finally selection of thebestoverall athletes that show the greatest potentialto play football.

The Largest Newspaper Publication inIndia Along with the Most InfluentialMedia Research Company Believe theEFLI is a Winner!

"The EFLI has picked the right time for itsIndian touchdown. According to TAM, acompany which analyses TV audience andsports trends, Indian viewers are nowwatching sports other than cricket. "Whichmeans," says an industry expert, "that we'renot a country that watches only one sport. In 2009, the year before the football worldcup in South Africa, more news articleswere published about football than aboutcricket!"

Global Media CoverageSince its inception, the EFLI has believedthat the country of India is wide open forthe opportunity to introduce a new sportsfranchise to the country. Our belief andconviction was vindicated by the largestand most influential media research firm inIndia. The Article "Touch Down india"appeared in "The Times of India" in theSunday Edition on June 19th, 2011. Below, are a few excerpts from the article:
