2. Cambridge Curriculum: The school has adopted the Cambridge curriculum from April 2015, with the entry point being Grade VI (Secondary 1) & Grade IX (IGCSE). In Secondary 1, seven subjects and in IGCSE nine subjects are mandatory.

The Subject options are: In Secondary 1(middle school): English, Math, Science, Hindi, French/Spanish/Sanskrit, History, Geography. Besides these, students also study Robotics and Design & Technology, Performing Arts, Physical Education and Yoga.

In IGCSE (Grade IX & X): English Language & Literature and Mathematics are compulsory. The optional subjects offered are - History, Geography, Environmental Management, Economics, Global Perspectives, Business Studies, Art & Design, Design & Technology, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The class sizes are limited to a favourable student ratio; 1: 30 in ICSE & ISC, 1: 22 in IGCSE and 1: 20 IB. The graduating batch of the year 2016-17 have a class size of 104 in ISC and 33 in IB.

CLASS SIZE:

Students participate in a myriad of activities and are exposed to multiple experiential learning programmes, such as Leadership and Mentoring, Disaster Management, Life Skills, The Shri Ram Ananta Aspen Leadership School (TSALS), Model United Nations, Form Mornings, After School Activities and competitive standardised examinations (such as ASSET, OLYMPIAD exams). The students participate in inter-school, intra-school and national athletic meets, leagues and games. To inculcate the value of social responsibility in our students, the school has a strong environment and community service programme and was the first school in Delhi to start rain water harvesting. SCHOOL CALENDAR:

Students are evaluated following the systematic format of Formative and Summative assessments. Student learning is measured on an ongoing basis through regular cycle tests, term examinations and internal assessments. Formal examinations are introduced from Grade VIII. Grade IX and XI have two examination cycles: Term I (August- September) and Term II (February – March). Grade X and XII have three examination cycles: Term I (August- September), Term II (November – December) and pre-boards (January). The board examination begins in February.Academic reporting is in accordance with the standards outlined by the CISCE (in Percentages), Cambridge IGCSE (in Grades) and the IBO (in Points). The same grading system applies for the Predicted scores. Detailed reports for the same are shared with the parents. Final results of ISC students are declared in the month of May and IBDP in the month of July.

School policy for College applications:1. Predicted grades: these are not based on any single examination. Weightage is given as follows: Grade X Board marks 25% Grade XI Final term examination 20% Grade XII First term examination or Second term 40% Teachers' (Subject teacher) discretion 15% This is an indicative formula.2. For IB students, the predicted grades are out of 42.3. Term I or Term II marks are transcribed in the Initial transcript in case of ISC students, Term I in case of IB students.

Pre-board marks are transcribed for the Mid- year report in case of ISC students, Term II in case of IB students.4. Recommended college capping: The school recommends a maximum of 8-10 applications per student for
