A Friendly Reminder about PARKING at the Senior Cen ter…

Handicap parking Spaces are for people with PERMITS, displayed on the dash, mirror, or showing a handicap symbol on their license plate. We appreciate your Consideration for our members and guests who are entitled to use these clearly marked spots.

Both CARS and PEOPLE share the Senior Center Parking Lot – following the reminders below will increase efforts to keep everyone safe as they come in and out of our center.

1. Please DRIVE IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION – DO NOT ENTER FROM THE FRONT of the Senior Center through the DO NOT ENTER / ONE WAY driveway

2. Use your TURN SIGNALS3. If at all possible, don’t wait – waiting for drivers to return to their cares is frustration to other

drivers and causes hold-ups throughout the lot, not just in your immediate area 4. Park courteously and within the lines5. OBEY SPEED LIMITS – Again, the SAME RULES APPLY IN THE PARKING LOT AS THEY

DO ON THE ROADS. Speed limits are included in this. Most large parking lots have posted speed limit signs, but if there isn’t one posted, KEEP IT TO 15 MPH, maximum. Parking lots are full of pedestrians; sometimes pedestrians that cannot be easily seen. You should be on FULL ALERT , which usually means a lower speed.

6. Slower speeds will also help to protect against fender benders. The most common accident in a parking lot is between a car backing out of a space, and a car driving down the aisle. Parking lots can be a driver’s worst nightmare, but following the above reminders will increase the SAFETY AND EASE OF USE OF THE SENIOR CENTER PARKING LOT and will be very must appreciated by all.

ONE LAST THING…….

PLEASE DO NOT PARK DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF THE SENIOR CENTER. It is for BUS DROP OFF / PICK UP ONLY . You may park out front from the blue mailbox down.

Your Safety and Well Being is Our Priority and We Thank You for Your Attention to this Important Subject!

Newport Playhouse

“Sex Please, We’re Sixty”

Return to one of our favorite theaters, Newport Playhouse, to enjoy the comedy, Sex Please, We’re Sixty. Mrs. Stancliffe’s

Rose Cottage Bed & Breakfast successfully draws guests (mainly women) who return year after year. It may be due to her

neighbors, “Bud the Stud’ and Henry the retired chemist. Henry has developed a blue pill for women called “Venusia’,

after Venus the goddess of love. An American farce; get ready for a good giggle. After enjoying lunch right at the theater

watch the play, and then return to the dining room for a fabulous cabaret show. Date: Tuesday, April 7, 2020 Cost:
