A Friendly Reminder about PARKING at the Senior Cen ter…
Handicap parking Spaces are for people with PERMITS, displayed on the dash, mirror, or showing a handicap symbol on their license plate. We appreciate your Consideration for our members and guests who are entitled to use these clearly marked spots.
Both CARS and PEOPLE share the Senior Center Parking Lot – following the reminders below will increase efforts to keep everyone safe as they come in and out of our center.
1. Please DRIVE IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION – DO NOT ENTER FROM THE FRONT of the Senior Center through the DO NOT ENTER / ONE WAY driveway
2. Use your TURN SIGNALS3. If at all possible, don’t wait – waiting for drivers to return to their cares is frustration to other
drivers and causes hold-ups throughout the lot, not just in your immediate area 4. Park courteously and within the lines5. OBEY SPEED LIMITS – Again, the SAME RULES APPLY IN THE PARKING LOT AS THEY
DO ON THE ROADS. Speed limits are included in this. Most large parking lots have posted speed limit signs, but if there isn’t one posted, KEEP IT TO 15 MPH, maximum. Parking lots are full of pedestrians; sometimes pedestrians that cannot be easily seen. You should be on FULL ALERT , which usually means a lower speed.
6. Slower speeds will also help to protect against fender benders. The most common accident in a parking lot is between a car backing out of a space, and a car driving down the aisle. Parking lots can be a driver’s worst nightmare, but following the above reminders will increase the SAFETY AND EASE OF USE OF THE SENIOR CENTER PARKING LOT and will be very must appreciated by all.
ONE LAST THING…….
PLEASE DO NOT PARK DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF THE SENIOR CENTER. It is for BUS DROP OFF / PICK UP ONLY . You may park out front from the blue mailbox down.
Your Safety and Well Being is Our Priority and We Thank You for Your Attention to this Important Subject!

SAMPLE LETTER ONLY
Dear Resident:
This is your invitation to respond to the 2020 Census . We need your help to count everyone inthe United States by providing basic information about all adults, children, and babies living orstaying at this address.
Results from the 2020 Census will be used to:• Direct billions of dollars in federal funds to local communities for schools, roads, and other
public services.• Help your community prepare to meet transportation and emergency readiness needs.• Determine the number of seats each state has in the U.S. House of Representatives and
your political representation at all levels of government.
The Census Bureau is using the internet to securely collect your information. Responding online helps us conserve natural resources, save taxpayer money, and process data more efficiently. If you are unable to complete your 2020 Census questionnaire online, we will send you a paper questionnaire in a few weeks for you to complete and mail back.
The census is so important that your response is required by law, and your answers are kept completely confidential.
