“The 50+ Show is a vibrant, energetic and positive showcase for the best that life

has to offer the active over-50s. Launching in 2007, The 50+ Show has successfully

taken place in London, Manchester and Glasgow ever since. A third day added to

that’s not all! The 50+ Show will launch its Birmingham edition in December 2013

and The 50+ Show Exeter in September 2014.

The 50+ Show has greatly improved over the years and we now offer exhibitors

a truly cost-effective means of doing business with, collecting contacts in and

reaching out to this large and growing group.

Selected exhibitors at The 50+ Shows

The 50+ Show is now a successfully proven concept: These are the largest over-50s shows in the UK - No other event gives such targeted access to this prosperous sector. This is largely a ‘recession-proof’ market, with guaranteed income and strong ongoing growth. The show is backed by a dedicated marketing campaign, including magazine, newspaper, internet advertising, direct email and direct mail advertising.Exhibitors are a major part of the event, offering visitors a huge range of products, services and information. In addition, each show includes a popular B-2-B networking reception for all exhibitors. The 50+ Show is a ‘blue-chip’ national show, with a local flavour.

WHY EXHIBIT?

All of The 50+ Shows are staged indoors. So, whatever the weather (rain, hail, snow, gales) The 50+ Show will go on...

EXHIBITING AT THE 50+ SHOW

Page 7: The 50+ Show Exhibitor Brochure

“We see The 50+ Show as an essential event on the exhibiting calendar.”

“Once again, The 50+ Show was packed with interesting stands and activities. The increase in visitors this year meant that our stand was always busy - so much so that we had people still there at closing time, and this is great for exhibitors. Next year should be fun!

“Well promoted and organised show which lived up to our expectations.” Nina Torbett, NHS Health Scotland

“This was our first time at The 50+ Show and a great way to get yourself known in a market that is very demanding. The clients we have gained from this show surpass any other we have attended and we will certainly be back next year.” Steve Plummer, Holidays & Cruises For You

“Wyldecrest Parks are happy to endorse The 50+ Show, which was very well organised, planned and executed. A good time was had by all.” James Kenneth, Wyldecrest Parks

“The 50+ Show is the essential event for any charity or business wishing to target an old in age, young at heart audience.” David Tickner, The Civil Service Retirement Fellowship

“Having experienced a variety of exhibition shows in the past, I was delighted with the tremendous visitor numbers and just as important, with the genuine interest in our product. A resounding success from start to finish...Highly recommended.” Robert Thomson, North America Travel Service

EXHIBITOR COMMENTSThe 50+ Show offers a unique opportunity to interact with the UK’s fastest-growing and most asset-rich population group.

The over-50s control 80% of the UK’s wealth, have little or no debt and have huge spending power.

The pot of assets and cash held by people over 50 is valued at over UK£175 billion.

By 2031, the number of people aged 80 and over will rise from 2.2 million to 4.9 million.

Net worth of visitors to our shows in 2012 was estimated at over £3bn.

With fixed or index-linked in-comes, the over-50s sector is largely recession-proof.

The Health Tourism Show brings together healthcare, medical services and health resorts from around the world and was first organised in 2008.

Health Tourism is a growing area and gives visitors the option to travel abroad to have their medical or health treatment, often saving over 50% on the fees that they would pay in the UK (and usually while having a nice holiday at the same time!)

A small selection of our previous health-tourism exhibitors includes the following: Turkish Healthcare Tourism Development Council, 32 Senses Group, Obsidian Retreat, Malaysia Healthcare Travel Council, Hospital Particular Do Algarve and Dental Implant Centre Hungary.

Shows-in-ShowThe 50+ Show is co-located with two other shows to make sure that a visitor’s day out is as full, enjoyable and useful as possible: The 50+ Travel Show and The Health Tourism Show.

The 50+ Travel Show (www.50plusTravelShow.com) offers travel companies the opportunity to interact with a large audience of affluent 50+ travellers.

A small selection of our travel-related exhibitors includes the following: Saga, Travelsphere, Voyages Jules Verne, Titan, Israel Tourism, Brightwater, Ramblers Holidays, Richardsons, Cruise and Maritime, Simply Groups, Mer-sey Ferries, Boundary Mill Stores, Cadbury World, Visit Hull, Isle of Wight and Warners Leisure Hotels.

The 50+ Travel Show benefits from its own area at the show, as well as a dedicated travel seminar theatre, offering a continuous forum for travellers and travellers’ tales!
