Choose the map to remove and click on the remove button. Click on the Theme settings button. Displays everything that will be plotted on the map. The settings can only be change if the mobile is disconnected. Double click on Route info Elements and then click on Add element button. Ensure the mobile is correct. Choose next and go to step 2 . In the Information element box, choose Channel Rxlev (dBm). GUIDE TO QUICKSTART TEMS LIGHT MEASUREMENT

Abstract

This document is to assist users who are new to TEMS Light 98 to perform the basic functions and measurements for Indoor coverage.

Methods Start TEMS light by clicking on the icon.

TEMS light will start with a default unnamed workspace ( tab on left bottom will show; untitled). Or if there is already a workspace saved, it will start with the saved workspace(The workspace has a file extension *.telig).

Click on Presentation on the top menu and click on Map in the drop down menu. The map window will be opened.

The range and colour can be change by using edit button.

Then click Finish and click Close in the theme properties window.

Connecting/Disconnecting the mobile.

Click on the Add mobile button. Select the mobile you wish to connect and click OK.

Click the connect button.

Click to disconnect.

Click on the Start Scan button and choose the frequency channel to scan and Bsic.

Goto the Presentation menu and choose Scanning Information followed by the relevant mobile. This will display a small window showing the Channel, Bsic and Rxlev of the scanned frequency.

Click on the map and start the measurements.

Click on the New Logfile button to start logging the measurements.

Click on the Close button and save the log file before starting another. EMBED PBrush
