Technip’s role in Norway

Since the mid-1990’s, Technip has been playing a leading role in Norway in the development of subsea fields and infield transportation systems. Services include: flowline installation, flexible riser supply, marine operations, diving and inspection maintenance and repair (IMR) activities.

Technip Norge established offices in Stavanger and Haugesund in 2006. These have both grown substantially since then as a result of increased workload.

Through cooperation with other parts of the Technip group, Technip in Norway is expanding its portfolio of services and can also supply offshore platforms, including both the substructure and topsides of Spars, semis or conventional jackets.

The Technip Group is represented in Norway by its subsidiary Technip Norge with their main office in Sandvika, outside Oslo, and a spoolbase in Orkanger. The total Norwegian workforce now exceeds 500.
