PREFACE

The MBA programme is well structured and integrated course of business studies. The main

objective of practical training at MBA level is to develop skill in student by supplement to the

theoretical study of business management in general. Industrial training helps to gain real life

knowledge about the industrial environment and business practices. The MBA programme

provides student with a fundamental knowledge of business and organizational functions and

activities, as well as an exposure to strategic thinking of management.

In every professional course, training is an important factor. Professors give us

theoretical knowledge of various subjects in the college but we are practically exposed of such

subjects when we get the training in the organization. It is only the training through which I

come to know that what an industry is and how it works. Training is an integral part of MBA

and each and every student has to undergo the training for 3 months in a company and then

prepare a project report on the same after the completion of training.

During this whole training I got a lot of experience and came to know about the

management practices in real that how it differs from those of theoretical knowledge and the

practically in the real life.

In today’s globalize world, where cutthroat competition is prevailing in the market,

theoretical knowledge is not sufficient. Beside this one need to have practical knowledge,

which would help an individual in his/her carrier activities and it is true that “Experience is

the best teacher”.

Outshine Solutions US Data Center is based in Chicago Facility of Hurricane Electric.Our Network Operations Center has an international internet backbone is considered tobe one of the best connections world-wide. Some of the names include Level(3),Abovenet, Savvis, PCCW, Telia and Cogent. Connections ranging from OC192, OC48,and 10GigE (10,000Mbps) form rings connecting Hurricane core routers.An in-house developed self-healing network architecture ensures that there are noblackholes or failure points within the core network. On top of our own backbone, as

part of our redundancy program we also have multiple Tier III connections fromdifferent locations. This also assures that your data arrives via the shortest and thefastest available network route.Hurricane Electric’s network utilizes Border Gateway Protocol Version 4 (BGP4) over dark fiber and long haul wavelengths. We always update the router’s software after wehave stress tested the latest software on a non-critical router, to make sure it is verystable. The switch that your equipment will ultimately be connected to is connected

back to a core router via fiber. All equipments & parts used are branded. So you never have to worry about hardware failure.

Data Center is connected to the Internet with highly redundant network through

multiple Gigabit backbones having multiple peering with other networks.

Servers deployed at the Data Center includes hardware replacement guarantee. In caseof any hardware failure, the hardware is immediately replaced.

Security:-

Manned, on-site security is present 24/7/365. Keycard system is in place for after-hours

building entry and floor access.

Electrical Capacity:-

Typical power allocation is approximately 40 watts per sq. ft. expandable to 80 wattsper sq. ft. Each cabinet and 4′ x 6′ cage receives a 110 volt, 20 amp circuit. Main power is 480 volt, 3 phase.Multiple DC power supplies are now available.

Power:-
